I refinanced my student loans through Laurel Road back in February. The process was easy and straightforward- I just submitted necessary documentation electronically and they processed my application quickly. I was able to refinance at a significantly lower interest rate. I would recommend refinancing your student loan debt through them.

I had applied for a consolidation loans through other providers and never really got the sense that they even looked at my financial situation, I do believe Mohela/Laurel Road did take an honest look. After getting approved, my autopay and overall experience has been very positive. I’m not sure there is much they can do to help me more, I have sort of “set it and forget” when it comes to this loan payment. I believe the rate could have been a bit better, but honesty there are so many factors that go into that decision that when it came down to it, it was better than having them with the original loan company.

I tried consolidating & re-financing with DRB now Luarel Road back in the fall of 2015. At that time, their online process was very cumbersome which dissuaded me from completing the process. In the winter of 2017, I refinanced with their new online platform. It was very easy and I received approval within a few days. Also, their rates were the lowest! I have been making payments for over a year now with them and have not had any issues.
