The experience was easy, straight forward and awesome

The entire process greatly exceeded my expectations. Very timely with responses, easy application process, and great rates. The only issue is I wish I would’ve refinanced sooner with Laurel Road. Now trying to talk some of my friends into giving it a chance since I was so pleasantly surprised!

Very easy process!!

I had been researching how to consolidate and who I should consolidate my student loans with for months after graduating. I had put 6 years into PT school and came out with loans to show for it. I looked into Laurel Road, SoFi, and CommonBond. I ultimately went with Laurel Road because I am a Physical Therapist and a member of the APTA- with my membership, I was able to qualify for a 0.25% interest rate reduction for my new (consolidated) loan with Laurel Road. The whole process was very easy (time-consuming as far as getting all of your documents together, but easy). I had a great customer-service experience (I called a bunch of times to make sure I had everything they needed to process my application) and the reps were very friendly and willing to help me with questions along the way. Once I was approved, my loans with two different companies were paid off in less than a month and I am so thankful I was able to consolidate. My interest rate was basically cut in half from what I would have had if I didn't consolidate. Additionally, the website was easy to use and the correspondence back and forth was clear (if you're unsure just call and they are very willing to help). There are a lot of great companies out there willing to help you consolidate and it's finding the best fit for you, but, with my experience, I would HIGHLY recommend Laurel Road for student loan consolidation!!
