This company is absolutely terrible. First of all, their laser machines DO NOT work! No matter how many sessions you take, you will not see a reduction in hair growth. I paid for multiple packages, paying thousands of dollars and did not see any results at the end. Later I went to a different place for laser and saw results even after the couple of sessions. It was like all that time and money spent on Laser Away was a complete waste. At the end of my package, I told them that you guys promise a certain amount of reduction by the end but as you can see from pictures, that has not happened, and they just said oh well, certain bodies are different... BS! Their machines are useless because as I said, I saw results elsewhere. In addition to that, their customer service is horrible! Their front desk people are rude and the people who pick up the phone are also utterly unhelpful. This company has no integrity or care for the customer. They just want to make money without actually providing a useful service. I don't think I've detested a company and regretted giving my money to them more than Laser Away. Keep away from them.

I became a customer of Laser Away in 2012 while living in San Diego, CA. I purchased and received services at their Hillcrest location. 3671 Fifth Ave, San Diego, CA 92103. I made numerous purchases and received services at this location including laser hair removal and Botox injections. I was a repeat customer of their advertised "botox bank" of which they state the credits do not expire. I moved from San Diego, California to Portland, Oregon in January 2017 and Laser Away did not currently have a location within the state of Oregon. I was informed that my credits would not expire and I was welcome to visit any location if I was ever traveling. In early 2023 I received a call from Laser Away in Tualatin, Oregon located at 7459 SW Bridgeport Rd, Tualatin, OR 97224, letting me know that they had recently opened a new location in the Portland Metro area and that I still had 44 credits of Botox on my account and they would love to see me. I stated that I was currently using a bank of units at another provider in Oregon but would love to come in when those ran out. They again stated that my Botox credits would not expire and to call back when I was ready. On December 26, 2024 I called the Laser Away Cedar Hills location closest to me at 2855 SW Cedar Hills Blvd Suite 105, Beaverton, OR 97005, to schedule an appointment for Botox. The service agent confirmed I had 44 units remaining and scheduled my appointment for December 30, 2024. On December 27, 2024 the agent called me and stated that unfortunately they had "switched systems" and would no longer be able to honor my remaining units. I expressed my concerns and they stated they would escalate this to a Regional Manager. I then received another call on December 29, 2024 stating the Regional Manager stated they would not honor my Botox Bank units and tried to sell me a package. I spent thousands of dollars at Laser Away and was not only guaranteed my bank would not expire, I was invited in to use my balance only then to be told it would not be honored. Their deceptive practices ruined a long time client relationship.

This company is EXTREMELY unprofessional. They will send 4-5 maybe even more different people/locations to call you. From multiple different numbers. They refuse to give pricing over the phone or put prices on their website. That alone should make you consider other options. Not to mention when I spoke with someone about removing me from their call list she acted like I called her! When she called me! Then has the audacity to give me an attitude on my phone! This company is honestly just so ridiculous with their whole selling process. I would never recommend this company to anyone and I would never use their services myself.

This is a SCAM!!!! Ladies be WARNED. At first, it's all fluff and compliments while they add on treatment after treatment and trick you into financing loans with WESTLAKE/COVERED CARE instead of letting you pay for the services upfront. The Bryn Mawr, PA location has canceled or tried to reschedule 4 of my appointments as a new client. The nurse called out 3 consecutive times. I asked to cancel my "membership" after the first canceled appointment, but they talked me into remaining a customer with the promise of a free facial (which was already in my paid service plan). Today I filed a formal complaint with the Better Business Bureau. The MainLine/Bryn Mawr LazerAway refunded my purchase 30 days ago, but I am still receiving a bill from WESTLAKE/COVERED CARE. During my second visit, I was scheduled for the Protenza RF Microneedling face and neck. The technician is so busy trying to upsell me on more services and products, that she doesn't read my chart and neglects to put the numbing cream on my neck. The nurse comes in and says, that we will have to schedule another appointment to complete the scheduled service or she could apply the cream to my neck (which needs 30 mins) and try to work on my face (WTF) Go to a smaller reputable skincare provider that actual cares about their clients and services rendered; not a get rich quick clinic like Lazeraway :( what an awful experience in the name of beauty.

I was told by Danielle the Coordinator that they provide thermage for the hands and fingers which when I got there and had my other service done I was informed that they don’t do the fingers which Danielle mislead me into a financial obligation knowing that this service wasn’t provided. I will be seeing an Attorney asap.

The high-pressure sales approach completely turned me off! I will NEVER have anything to do with these people again. I was inundated with phone calls and emails, but never could get the information (THE PRICE) I kept asking for. After asking for the 4th time how much to do just one body area, the upper lip, I was treated yet again to a monologue about how experienced she was and that she has been doing this for 8 years and started off with transplants and growing hair and is now into removing hair. I stopped her incredibly inappropriate monologue and said, again, I just want the price for the upper lip. She returned with, "What other body parts might you want?" Ugggg! My answer was, "NONE!! How do I get that across you?!" I still didn't get a price, but was treated to another, "We have many packages..." I finally said, "How is it you can't understand that I want JUST my upper lip done and want to know the price for it?" Unbelievably, she went into another dissertation with no price. I finally told her, "Forget it, I'll grow a damn handlebar mustache, before I ever deal with you again." (And I'm a woman.)

I purchased 3full legs and 6 braziliam hair laser removal package and when I got the receipt it mentioned 3 full legs , 3 brazilian and 3 underarms and when I talked to the sales representaive who sold me the package named Vannessa at San Ramon Location , she mentioned that she has put in the note under my purchase that I have 6 Brazilan and 3 full legs amd I have a screenshot of that conversation as proof . Now Vanessa isn’t working there anymore and I talked to customer service 2 times and always get the answer that I will receive a call back in 24-48 hours but no one calls me. I went to San Ramon location and talked to the front desk with the person named Delilah and I told her that I have screenshot of the conversation but she kept on saying she can’t do anything and will send the details to regional manager. I was told by her that I will receive a call back within 24 hours but no one has called me yet. It’s been over 2 weeks now . I went again after 2 weeks and there was a new employee at the front desk who did sent me email after a day saying she has sent the details to Regional office dept. and I will get back a call the next day but no call yet so I am still waiting ! When I call corporate number , it goes to customer service number where they also say they have escalated the issue and someone will call within a day but no one has called yet .

Scam. BEWARE. My representative neglected to provide clarity about NO REFUNDS. LaserAway reserves the right to cancel your service for any reason at anytime and will refund your card for any charges if they cancel but would not provide a refund after I changed my mind before my first scheduled appointment. On 11/29/24 I reached out to LaserAway and they recommended a procedure to remove a sun spot from my face. My representative encouraged me to call back anytime reach out to her with any questions or concerns. On 12/4/24, I contacted LaserAway to inquire more about my sun spot removal. Then on 12/5/24 I made a follow-up call with my representative. I requested a refund after getting more information concerning my medical needs but was told I can not get a refund as there is a NO REFUND policy in the electronic registration that was signed. I was directed to the electronic document that I signed on 11/29/24. This was not discussed at anytime while we went over the agreement in the virtual meeting over the phone. I was not told I could not cancel and get a refund if I changed my mind before receiving the service. My representative stated their refund policy was discussed at the point she stated "you can exchange it for any other service if you change your mind". However, she failed to clarify that meant it is nonrefundable until AFTER I requested a refund. The electronic registration is long and difficult to process during the fast pace of the virtual consultation. I believe this is false and/or misleading practices about the refund policy. After I requested a refund I was sent a link with the refund policy stating all sales are final. Also I was also told during the registration the sun spot removal services provided by in Groupon suppliers who don't use medical grade equipment or have actual nurses like LaserAway. However, the following day I spoke with laser provider on Groupon who stated her company does use medical grade equipment and provide medical grade similar to LaserAway. I was denied a refund by my representative before receiving any treatment. I have contacted the financing company to dispute the charges as I am on a payment plan and awaiting to hear back from them. I feel very uncomfortable being pushed into getting a service I am no longer interested and/or feel uncomfortable with and requested a refund of my $299 down payment and cancellation of my $2,000 loan. My representative, stated she would have to put in a claim but there was no guarantee I will get a refund. She stated it would take up to 7 days to hear back from her about my complaint for a refund. It has been very stressful trying to get a refund before my first scheduled appointment. My representative was so excited when I signed the registration and very encouraging. However, when I requested a refund, they did not seem to care that I was feeling emotional and upset, overwhelmed. They did not appear interested in what is in my best interest only their sales (which they may receive commissions on). I asked to speak to a supervisor but was not provided one. I would not recommend this company. The company should provide a requested refund within a reasonable time when no services have been provided.
