I have Landmark Home Warranty and have had good experiences with them but what it comes to Central Air Conditioning, they allow the service provider to over charge for items which they do not fully cover so get ready if you have an issue. My issue was i needed 14 Lbs of R22 Freon which the repair company charged $927 after a so called subsidy from Landmark. R22 is more expensive than the new Freon Which landmark told me you can not get. It is freely available from suppliers to repair companies and anyone who orders from them. I got a price of $285 for a 15 Lb can which is the going price from suppliers. I can not believe that Landmark would allow this type of price gouging and deception by them. What other games do they play with customers?? Why the dishonesty.....why would ant reputable company do this?

Senior citizens, single moms, working couples, you don’t need the drama Landmark brings to the home warranty process. Hours on hold at their call center, failure to aggressively vet their contractors, lengthy inept and bureaucratic claim process. We had our AC go out and it took over a month for them to decide they would pay for half of the repairs. Their first contractor said the unit was installed incorrectly. I got three of my own HVAC companies to come out and all three disputed that diagnosis and identified a defective compressor at fault. So I requested a second opinion from Landmark and their second opinion contractor scoffed at the first diagnosis and agreed on a defective compressor. But that wasn’t good enough for Landmark because it took away an easy claim denial based on the first opinion. So they had the second opinion contractor send another technician out who reconfirmed a defective compressor. Landmark was still not happy so they had the second opinion contractor back a third time to look at the inside unit for a mix match of equipment. The contractor for a third time told Landmark the other equipment was fine IT’S THE COMPRESSOR. Finally Landmark capitulated and settled. After over a month with 100 degree weather, many days waiting on contractors and countless hours waiting on the phone we took the “cash out” and had our contractor fix it. Now a Landmark marketing member will try to spin this but do your research, read the reviews and trust in Google. Your money, time and satisfaction deserve better than Landmark Home Warranty

Scam! Do not send these people money

They are waste of money. 7 days living in San Antonio without AC and every day sending one hour for customer service.Still we dont have AC and they dont know when will they fix it. They said it may take one day or one month. Waste of money as Home Warranty

Nightmare. Landmark Home Warranty will not even call me back or give me an answer as to why they are not fixing my roof leak. I pay extra for roof leak repair. Discovered a leak recently and finally had a reason to use it. Was told by the customer rep that my specific case was covered, per the contractor that came out. But cannot get them to schedule the repair. Meanwhile, my house is getting destroyed further with every rain (and they won't pay for the additional damage caused by their delay). They are completely unresponsive. When I call in, say they will call back (but don't). No response to sending emails to their support or messages through my online account. Have been on hold for over an hour today. That is not an exaggeration. 3 20-minute-plus phone calls on hold and then their system hangs up on me. Just contacted 3 on Your Side and if I don't get quick resolution, luckily I know a lawyer that spends all day going after BS like this.

Called out Landmark to check central air/furnace blower since unit was shaking and making noise. Service technician found motor bearing going bad but stated that landmark would not pay until unit stopped working. By the time the blower unit might stop working it might cause much greater damage. Called out a independent contractor to replace blower. Not much use in warranty.

The worst home warranty company ever!! Don’t trust this company! I had a leaking fridge. The contractor said that the fridge is very old, he couldn’t fix it and it needs to be replaced. He cleaned it and said that if I will have the same problem I need to call to the home warranty company and they should replace the fridge. In 2 months I called to the company with the same problem. They sent another contractor and he found another problem and this problem is not covered by home warranty!!! How do you like it!!! I asked why the conclusion of the second contractor is more important than the first one and I asked to sent another contractor. They refused to do it and answered in a rude form that my file is closed and if I have any issues about it I could do whatever I want. They couldn’t help me! They refused to replace the fridge, they even refused to find the parts for replacing. I had to pay for the second contractor appointment, but I think that he was a fake one. He didn’t do anything and spent in my house just 5 minutes but he had enough time to make a conclusion what is good for the company. Please, please, please Don’t waste time, money and nerves on this company!!!!!

My fridge died the end of May, and the contractor recommended it be replaced. After Landmark finally decided to do that they sent us $500.00 and after a poor review the case was reconsidered by Tiffany Nguyen and now they are sending a check for $699.00 that covers the new fridge we purchased. I feel bad it took a bad review to get what we should have received in the first place.
