Labcorp is a joke. Twice at my Doctors office they seem to forget that I am waiting for blood work. Others have come in much later after me and were served first. This lab location is a walk-in by the way. Their bill paying process is a bigger joke. If I could give Labcorp negative stars, I would.

Disgraceful practice
I arrived at LabCorp at 9:30 am, there were 12 people already waiting. Only one man was working there…checking 3 people in at a time, then drawing blood from those 3 people and repeat over and over and over. New patients continued to come in on a regular basis. I finally left LabCorp at 1 pm.
Many people were so disgusted…they just left, tired of waiting. It was a horrible feeling for all of us waiting but even more stressful for the poor guy trying his best to keep things moving. I hope he was able to do his job without any mix-ups or pass out from lack of food or water as he was run ragged for hours on end!

TERRIBLE!!
If I could leave NO stars, I would! Walgreens employee said LabCorp closed an hour after they opened! I waited months for my 11am appointment. Nobody called to inform me they were closing early. I drove 20 miles to get here and needed this appointment to continue receiving medications. TERRIBLE!!!

Labcorp Billing is the ABSOLUTE WORSE
I am NOT complaining about the lab. I am complaining about their billing. It is the absolute worse online and on the phone. Online, it says to click next which is never there. So I call their 800 helpline. First, they try to sell me a free medical device. I finally speak to someone on a recorded line, they continue the rant about a free medical device. When I say NO, they cannot help me. It goes back to lower my medical co-pays, pet supplies, lower my cable bill. I am finally resorting to sending in my $8.01 payment by mail...wasting a stamp. YES, send Labcorp this complaint. I should be able to give this billing a ZERO stars rating.

Couldn’t answer questions Given non itemized or explained bill to sign before labs drawn . I have very good insurance and have satisfied my deductible and get labs at the hospital every 2-3 months… no bill!!
Perhaps they charge a drawing fee or an equipment fee .. who know .. they don’t tell you

Be warned
On May 24, 2024 at 10 AM I showed up at the Labcorp office at 4350 E. Ray Road, Phoenix, for an appointment I had made four days earlier. By that time I had been fasting for 12 hours, as required by my doctor. I found the office dark, the front door locked, with no sign anywhere to indicate what was going on.
My phone call to a number listed for Labcorp yielded a recording telling me to leave a message that would be answered ASAP. ASAP never came. A phone call to another number provided by a fellow client yielded the news that the office was closed for the day due to an "emergency." I was instructed to go to another Labcorp office some 10 miles away, where my appointment would be "honored." In a phone conversation with that office, I was told that they were understaffed and unable to accommodate me. I was directed to yet a third Labcorp office, but unable to reach that office for directions.
I gave up on Labcorp that day and will never use, or try to use, them in the future. I would rate their service with zero stars for "Awful, Be Warned."

Large hematoma after blood draw
My 20-year-old son had a routine blood draw in the Harvard Ave. location in Denver, CO on May 23, 2024. He developed large hematomas at the left upper arm and forearm that still hurt him after 5 days despite icing it for the first 48 hours. He is a healthy college student with good veins. Clearly someone incompetent did his blood draw. This is unacceptable. I attached a photo on Yelp.

Worst possible experience!
Worst possible experience!
I made an appointment for 1:45 PM, arrived at 1:10 PM and checked into their electronic kiosk. I was offered a better appointment in just 2 minutes.
Forty minutes later the woman manning the front desk called my name and asked why I was there. She apparently did not check the appointment information.
I said that I have a standing order for a simple blood test every 4 weeks. She asked for the order from my doctor. I handed it to her and she said that it would be a few minutes. I told her that I needed the original back because it is a reoccurring order. She said that she would make a copy for me. I said that I needed the original back. She said that she would keep the original and give me a copy.
I again repeated that I needed the original. She said no. I said that I now wanted the original to take to a different lab because I did not want her to keep the original and that I no longer wanted the blood work performed there.
She gave it to me and as I turned to leave, she said "Have a nice day, honey". I turned back and she gave me a huge grin.
In her mind I'm sure that she thought she was important and in total control. Her "better than you" attitude cost LabCorp a customer.
I got the blood work done at a local hospital and they gave me back the original order. I asked if they needed the original and they told me "of course not, I made a copy".
LabCorp? NEVER AGAIN!
