I visited the Hamilton branch today May 23rd around 1:30 pm. I had the pleasure to work with Riveda Charles. She was truly kind, inviting and professional. I went there to get information. Riveda collected my script. Provided my with a detained instruction with a big smile. Later Sharol Riveda joined us. I found their customer service quite exceptional. They took care of me in a timely manner, which enabled me to return to work in an expedited say. This was my second visit to this office and my experiences on both visits have been very positive. I strongly recommend Lapcorp located in 1255 Whithorse Mercervill road.

I am deeply disappointed with my recent experience at LabCorp - if I could rate them a 0 I would. After having my blood drawn, I was left in the dark regarding any information about the testing process. Despite having received my results promptly in the past through the online portal, this time, it has been three weeks of silence. When I reached out to my doctor for updates, I was informed that one of the tests was delayed and could take weeks to process. Desperate for clarity, I contacted LabCorp multiple times via phone calls and emails, but to no avail. Finally, when I managed to speak to the right people, I was shocked to learn that my blood sample was received a week after the draw, and the test itself would take an additional 3-4 weeks. This delay jeopardizes an important upcoming appointment that I have been waiting for, adding to my frustration. The lack of communication and transparency from LabCorp has left me feeling helpless and uncertain about how to proceed. It is disheartening to be in a situation where my health is at stake, and yet there seems to be a lack of urgency or care from the company. As a customer who simply seeks answers and support during a vulnerable time, I expected better service and communication from LabCorp. This experience has been incredibly stressful, and I am now forced to reschedule my appointment for another six weeks, further prolonging my wait for answers. It is disheartening when you are unwell and in need of assistance, only to feel neglected and overlooked. I hope that LabCorp takes this feedback seriously and works towards improving their communication and customer service to prevent similar situations in the future.

On multiple occasions they have billed me $1,000 for preventative tests that are 100% covered by my insurance, such as pap smears. My insurance reached out to them, and they are refusing to issue a correction!

I am writing to express my profound disappointment and concern regarding the unprofessional conduct demonstrated by the staff at your Labcorp facility located at 1802 Braeburn Dr, Salem VA, during my visit on May 14, 2024, between 11 am and 12 pm. On this particular occasion, I accompanied a patient for a routine blood work appointment. However, the experience we encountered was far from routine and left us deeply troubled. The behavior and actions of your staff not only fell short of professional standards but also raised serious questions about competence, empathy, and respect for patients. The ordeal began with the first phlebotomist's unsuccessful attempts to access the patient's veins for blood collection. Despite multiple pokes, she was unable to draw blood, which was a distressing experience for the patient. Subsequently, a second phlebotomist was called in to assist. However, instead of addressing the situation with expertise and professionalism, the second phlebotomist resorted to baseless assumptions, claiming that the patient was "very cold" and "dehydrated." This unfounded diagnosis was both perplexing and concerning, as it demonstrated a lack of medical judgment and understanding. Despite these assertions, subsequent attempts to draw blood from alternative sites, such as the back of the hand and wrist, also proved unsuccessful. Furthermore, the insinuation that the patient's inability to provide blood was due to diarrhea was not only insensitive but also medically inaccurate. As someone familiar with the patient's medical history, I can attest that such symptoms are commonly associated with the patient's underlying condition, rather than being indicative of dehydration or any other unrelated issue. Following three failed attempts, the patient was ultimately sent back to their doctor to obtain new orders for blood work at an alternative location. It is worth noting that the subsequent visit to another facility shortly after the botched exercise at your facility resulted in the successful blood collection on the first attempt, highlighting the stark contrast in competence and professionalism between your facility and others. Moreover, I cannot overlook the disturbing possibility that the patient may have been subjected to discrimination based on their race, national origin, and medical condition. The repeated failure to collect blood, despite the patient's prior experiences of successful blood draws, raises troubling questions about the motivations and attitudes of your staff towards certain patients. As a result of this distressing experience, I cannot in good conscience recommend Labcorp Labs at the Lewis Gale Hospital to others seeking medical services. I urge you to thoroughly investigate this matter and take appropriate action to address the issues raised. Furthermore, I am willing to engage in further discussion with any concerned parties seeking to prevent similar incidents from occurring. Thank you for your attention to this matter. I trust that you will treat it with the seriousness and urgency it deserves.

The LabCorp office located at 3901 66th St N, St. Petersburg, FL 33709, is by far the most unprofessional and unsanitary office I’ve encountered. The egregious misconduct by the employees is quite appalling. The staff at the front desk were blatantly cursing and speaking to customers in a derogatory manner. Despite receiving an email confirmation of our scheduled appointment, upon arrival, we were met with a rude and dismissive receptionist who denied the existence of our appointment told my elderly father to 'sit back down and listen; even shooed him away,' and then proceeded to ask a fellow employee, 'Can you believe these effing people!' He wouldn't even look at the confirmation. Furthermore, the office was unsanitary and lacked adequate seating. When we politely requested assistance, we were met with the dismissive response, 'That's not my job.' The behavior of the employees at this location is completely unacceptable and does not reflect well on LabCorp and all the employees from 5/10/24 need career redirection to ensure that such behavior does not occur again, including your manager at this location. I hope this matter is taken seriously and someone holds these employees accountable for their unacceptable actions.
