Love shoes and customer service is awesome. I talked with Seth and he was very courteous and professional. He was quick to help. Wish all companies had Seth for customer service.

Not worth the hype and cost. Been wearing their slippers but the inner soles wear out fast and I had to keep buying a pair of new shoes every three months. Way better brands out there. I also tried their tennis shoes but they didn’t fit my feet - too wide despite going down two sizes. Be aware their return policy is only 45 days (most shoes 90 days) and customer service was awful. I’m out $175. No longer buying Kuru or recommending to friends. Better brands out there.

The shoes feel and look of good quality materials. I found the break-in period did nothing to help with my plantar fasciitis. It was since day one I found the footbed hard and unyielding. I work on cement floors all day and could never get past a 1/2 shift before needing to swap out and wear a different pair of shoes. I ordered prior to changing my position from office to sales floor so by the time I got through the break in period it was past 45 days and KURU wouldn't refund even though the shoes are nearly new. This is the 2nd time I gave Kuru a try and will not bother with this brand again.

The shoes didn’t live up to the hype. I tried to make a return. It was a hassle. They wouldn’t refund my money until I proved I returned the shoes. I had returned them using the return process and using their return shipping label. Included inside the box was all my information. Still I had to prove I returned them. Luckily I had saved the tracking number and was able to prove it. If I hadn’t, I’m sure I’d be out $175. Their computer system seems to lose things like customer information and processed returns. Finally I got a refund, but not a full refund as advertised. They slide in a $5.00 fee for shipping protection the they won’t refund. It’s actually $5.42 that they end up not refunding. Sneaky of them to out that extra fee in there and then not refund it. Not the kind of business practices that retain customers. After my bad review, they reached out and told me that they would fully refund me. They never apologized for how they treated me. They lied. They never refunded me. Eventually they responded to my email and said that they would not be refunding me. This was over a 6 month period. I would avoid this company. They are not well organized and seem to be dishonest. I posted a review on Facebook and they removed it and blocked me.

Do not order these shoes if you live in Canada. Paid $154 in duties for two pairs, they fit way larger than the brand I typically wear so I had to return them. Cost me an additionally $75 to ship the return since I'm not in the US. So I paid $225 to NOT have shoes. FB marketplace in my city is full of people trying to offload their Kuru shoes that don't fit them because returning them costs so much.

The boots so far seem nice, but I just paid almost a hundred bucks extra on brokerage fees on top of their $19 shipping fee. FedEx says the product originated in China hence the huge fee. I have bought online from several other U.S. companies whose products are manufactured elsewhere but have never been charged brokerage fees like that! The boots were only $175, the shipping was $114. I contacted the company they said there was nothing they can do and offered me $20 off my next purchase. They obviously are aware of this problem but don't bother to warn international customers. Poor customer service and business practices!
