I paid over 809 for a book release with other publishings; ie blogs and other marketing but have received nothing but demands for more money. Alvis Dean has given others my info who has also contacted me for more money despite receiving nothing. I want my money back

This company is a scam! I can sum it up!!!! This company will tell you that you violated policy but they will not tell you what policies then they tell you that I'm dead when I give you your love because I just something that they've earned for all your hard work and using customer for them to benefit and profit! And we published our book even if you decide that you want to close our account you should not have the right to keep our royalties for all of the hard work that we put in! Not give us an actual answer to our questions treat us with so much disrespect and stayed at your answer is final from all of the hard work that we put in I don't understand how this is legal! They need to be out of business and then when you call Amazon Amazon can't give you an answer there's no actual person to speak to verbally to address the issue and they have you going around in circles stating that they're not really affiliated with them there's no actual number to contact them?! Excuse me you have billions and billions of dollars and their individuals placing their items on your site placing their books on your site trusting you that this company would be honest and this company is a scam they are a fraud and it should be illegal to sit here and scam people out of there hard-earned money that they actually deserve and they earned all of the hard work they put in the dedication that they put into their book! This company is a scam I would not advise anyone to place their books on the site because at the moment you think you're doing well they will rip the carpet from under you without any explanation of why they can commit fraud because this is what this is taking money of all the hard work that you've done then tell you that you don't deserve an explanation for it! They can conquer any lie they want to tell you that they're canceling your subscription or your account without giving you an accurate answer just to steal your money! Please be aware publish your own books do not use this company I don't even order anything from them anymore because if you're going to steal my books I don't even want to give you my money for ordering anything on your site! Report them to the Federal trade commission in the better Business bureau because if there's enough complaints on them then maybe someone will start investigating

Amazon KDP are one of the shadiest, least transparent publishing platforms you’re ever gonna find. They wasted 3 years of my creativity, financial investments & hardwork. My books were doing well in the market & getting nice ratings & just when I was about to get my biggest royalty yet, KDP terminated my account on grounds that I was “manipulating their services”. I appealed this decision & asked them to review it but nothing was done. (They gave me the same bot response. Same glitched bots that they employed over humans to randomly block accounts for no logical or understandable reasons). I’m currently going through depression & financial hardship right now because KDP literally took all my handwork/money away in a whim. Over $2000 in royalties gone with no warnings, no emails. This cannot be right! This cannot be legal in a sane world. I have a lot of resentment in me towards Amazon & whoever runs this platform. Please do not put your time and effort into this evil platform because they’re just laying in wait to ruin your life & rob you of your hardwork one day. They do not care about their authors. I’m currently working on a legal action. If BBB.Org can’t help me then I’ll take this to court.

I'm appalled by my experience with Kindle Direct Publishing (KDP), which I can only describe as a blatant scam. After putting in countless hours crafting my book, I was met with excuses that my royalties were withheld due to “misleading content.” This nonsensical justification feels like a smoke screen for their shady practices, with KDP operating more like a pyramid scheme than a legitimate publishing platform. It's outrageous that they can manipulate authors and steal our hard-earned royalties under the guise of content guidelines. I urge fellow authors to beware of KDP—it’s a predatory system designed to profit off the backs of unsuspecting creators while giving nothing in return!

Ich veröffentliche seit Ende 2016 bei kdp. Der Grund: Ich war es leid, mich bei Verlagen in die Endlosschlange zu stellen. Natürlich darf man nicht erwarten als No Name Autor von hier auf jetzt in die Bestsellerränge aufzusteigen. Aber wenn man qualitativ gut und zielgruppenorientiert arbeitet, kann man schon damit rechnen, im Pool der zigtausend Mitbewerber wahrgenommen zu werden - und ganz ordentlich zu verkaufen. Man wird sicher nicht reich dabei. Aber man hat die Chance, für sein Hobby bezahlt zu werden!

Lost royalties, Account deletion, no way to contact, I was trying to order author copies, I was told to delete a duplicate account, this i did, it was associated to KDP, i had no idea that was the case. I have spent a week now trying to get hold of KDP to sort the issue. There is links and buttons all that link back to themselves, i have spoken with customer services at Amazon in America, Canada and the uk, none of which do anything other than send a link back to the same place that doesn't work, it doesn't matter who you talk to they can not do anything. My book is a Christmas book and i have spent a lot of money on marketing. I have tried to complain to amazon, they just repeat the process of sending the same link as before. an extremely rubbish experience with them and it seems they are keeping my royalties as well. Going on here is my last attempt to get attention from them, after this, i guess it has to be a legal approach. I strongly suggest being careful and think about whether or not KDP is the correct choice, i am now looking into alternatives.
