It is a learning curve, but once you follow directions to the letter, it is easy. I have been using them for years now. My only complaint is that the covers could be stronger. After a short time, they curl. I would happily pay more for a better cover, but there is no such option. My other complaint is that they do not make our books available in bookstores as IngramSparks claims to do. Otherwise, it would have been five stars from me.

Bin recht zufrieden. Ich verdiene ein Zubrot.

It was straight forward until I had to provide tax number I thought I needed a tin number but that's for us citizens then I left it for a month .I came back and saw I that UK residents use a UTR number I found a ten digit number on one of my forms and kdp accepted it so i managed to get the book accepted I stuck another one on and it was going great ,faster than I thought it would be no obstacles until one big pain in the ass it asked me if I want to use my own image for the cover then it said it was too big ,I used umpteen aps some more than once It kept saying pixels are wrong size , but it had accepted the image before and now it was rejecting it .it wasn't until i went for kdp's own images that I saw another option to add my own picture ,that must have been the one I used before which I had forgot about as why would there be two things that do the the same thing , it worked again unlike it's decoy counterpart which never works ,I also had problems with this last year with my first book. The reason I had to reupload the image is because I pressed archive and it wiped my book completely so I had to upload the book again also

Successfully published one paperback with no difficulty, now adding kindle version. About to publish second book in same formats. Smooth process and payout works fine. Only advice would be to choose matte finish cover; I've changed from gloss which curls your cover very badly.

Hi I am a 68 year old, who spends a great deal of his time shouting at the computer, and it was no different when using KDP. I was brought up in a time when you just sent your illustrations to the printer and he did the rest, but this is self publishing. So you have to do all the formatting etc. yourself, and initially you are talking to a machine, and unless you do as it wants it doesn't work (shouting doesn't help.) After several attempts I finally got the book printed, and I very pleased how it turned out. Amazon have allowed me to see my work in print at their expense, you could argue that they are hoping to make money out of it, but as several publishers have turned it down chances are they won't. I'd just like to thank Amazon for making me a published author. with 10 books sold not quite J.K. Rowling but I'm still in print.

I have used KDP to publish a number of children's books. I have found them reliable and helpful. Their customer service is congenial and if you have problems they are their to help. Of course like any author I would like it if the royalties were better.

un po' (tanto) multinazionale ma valido.
