I recently received an email from KDP closing my account stating that I have violated their Terms and conditions. I have uploaded a short book maybe 1 year ago and a bunch of notebooks 2 years or more prior to that. I received an email a few weeks ago saying I would get paid so I logged into the account and realised I had sold 10x one of my notebooks back in february 25, I was so pleased. And then a week or so later account closure stating they would not pay me and removed all my books/notebooks from sale. I asked what I did wrong because I have genuinely no idea. I got some standard response: "A review of your account found activities trying to manipulate our services. This is a violation of Amazon Terms and Conditions. We are upholding our decision to close your account and remove your books from sale on Amazon. Our Terms and Conditions are here...", most of the e-mails were also signed by the same person (except one) which looks like an automation (not a real person)! Basically, there is no one to talk to to get an answer. Hours of work removed from their platforms and no royalties after my latest sale. Very dissapointing!

I can not express enough how frustrated I am with KDP customer services. My account was blocked and deleted for no apparent reason in January and no matter how many times I have reached out, not a single person has helped me. I am beyond frustrated and can’t imagine how a company operates like this. If I could give them a 0/100 stars I would!

I'm was in what one might call a dubious category in KDP, admittedly, that of fetish erotica. However, KDP exhibited the outrageous habit of publishing my many, many episodes for years, then deciding that I'd 'violated' their guidelines, always failing to address the glaring fact that THEY'D in fact published it in the first place. Fair enough. But, I was willing to go back and resubmit literally thousands of pages in good faith.

Non sapendo come fare, non essendo io uno scrittore e nemmeno avendo alcuna ambizione in merito, mi sono consultato con un amico che anche lui, ai tempi, aveva scritto un libro. Il suo consiglio è stato quello di sfruttare la nota piattaforma, che uso da più di dieci anni per gli acquisti, ma di cui ignoravo questo servizio. Devo dire che sono STRA SODDISFATTO! Innanzitutto l'uso è abbastanza semplice, bisogna cercare un po' ma si trova davvero tutto, dai modelli dei documenti da utilizzare per la scrittura, al sistema di creazione della copertina. Il servizio assistenza è efficace e in grado di risolvere eventuali dubbi. Trovo molto bella anche la possibilità di richiedere le bozze cartacee prima ancora della pubblicazione, cosa che mi è stata molto utile per rivedere formato del libro e del font. Quindi nulla da dire. In poche settimane, dopo alcune revisioni, ho pubblicato il libro esattamente nella data del compleanno di mia moglie... è stato il mio personalissimo regalo, molto apprezzato.

Amazon make almost all of the money out of your efforts. Your book will not sell unless you pay them to promote it. Steer clear of this company - they are bad news!

Uploaded a new book a week ago, should take less than 48 hours to be reviewed, but so far still under review, very unprofessional. And now reading all the trustpilot reviews about closing down author's accounts for no reason, stealing their products and commissions and no customer service? Wondering if I made a huge mistake uploading my book on kpd! Certainly not a happy customer right now!

Sono un autore kdp da diversi anni e vi ho pubblicato tre romanzi e una raccolta di racconti. Dopo un periodo in cui non ho avuto nulla da ridire, ecco il fattaccio: ad agosto vengono acquistati - in formato ebook - i tre romanzi della mia trilogia. Intorno a metà novembre, mi accorgo di un saldo negativo nelle vendite, spulcio sul report di kdp e vedo che tre copie dei miei tre ebook sono state restituite. Per farla breve, i tre ebook erano stati acquistati ad agosto e all'acquirente è stato permesso di restituirli dopo due mesi abbondanti (ben oltre il periodo lecito per la restituzione) e - immagino - dopo averli letti con tutta la tranquillità del mondo. A fronte delle molte segnalazioni, periodicamente ricevo un'email dai toni rassicuranti ("prendiamo molto sul serio le politiche di reso" - "abbiamo inoltrato la segnalazione al team competente") ma che non è altro che un copia-incolla che si ripete da mesi. Ormai non le leggo nemmeno più. Sono davvero amareggiato. Non tanto per la cifra (pochi spiccioli) quanto per il principio e per la sensazione di essere stato defraudato e preso in giro dall'addetto del call center amazon che ha permesso la restituzione fuori dai tempi previsti e - soprattutto - dall'assistenza. Perché a me che avvenga o meno l'indagine interna non interessa minimamente, ma dopo 5 mesi continuare a vedere quel segno meno sul report è davvero frustrante. Immagino che se fossi stato un autore di punta, i signorini dell'assistenza KDP avrebbero galoppato per risolvere il problema. Ma si sa, gli autori emergenti\sconosciuti\dai piccoli numeri contano poco e nulla per Amazon... servono solo a poter vantare le milionate di libri fruibili tramite kindle unlimited. Già provveduto a rimuovere il rinnovo dei 90 giorni per il kdp select.

I received a letter written by a bot saying I was providing a misleading customer experience and a few hours later, another saying my account had been cancelled. No idea what the problem was and the communications I received sounded aggressive, and unhelpful.
