False rates reported my average was a 200-250% increase in their rates.
False rates, justcall pads their income by 200-250% increases in the per minute rates they post. Spoke with report and says it’s not a glitch. They just stealing from you on purpose haha. Details I signed up to test their platform and would be using their IVR to send to our call team. I’m very glad I did some testing first as I was shocked by surprise charges. I’ll walk you through my experience. I created a quick basic IVR which was very easy to do. Once I started testing it, from my phone only. I noticed the balance drop even though I was just in IVR. Which made me think, do they really charge for me menu time? This was a bit odd to count minutes inside of you IVR but whatever. I go to the dashboard, there is no used minutes at all. Just deductions from credits with no reason why. It was here I realized something was off and I need to test more. I then did a series of tests, where I would call what for connect and once at 1 second I’d hang up and see what would get deducted on the balance. Sure enough, ever hang up at 1 second would charge as much as 5 cents. And at scale… 10-20k calls a month no way man. Let’s do by day, 500 calls a day, and say half of them hang up and call back, $250 x $.05 = $12.50 extra just because half before they completed the menu hung up and tried again. Maybe they forgot something either way on the low end 12.5 per day…. $375 extra per month would be paying for nothing. So naturally HUGE red flag. Something has to be broken right, this is a volume based company, you would need a company like just call if your expanding and need to handle a lot of calls. And these small micro charges would become big month bills for most of the company’s looking to use them. To find out if this a glitch, I setup a chat with the justcall support person and they let me know that they have a 2 cent per minute rate… and they tell me they “round up” minutes. So 1 second to them is 1 minute. At this point I’m out right, that rate is nuts also not listed anywhere. But then it hits me, I never had a flat 2 cent charge… all above. When I tell the support person this they try and say it’s because their carrier must have changed or something, but my tests were from the same phone at the same time. So not possible, also what happened to 2 cents when you sent the chart? This is a pretty large increase. He says he will report back in 24-48 hours When they reply the best they can come up with is yes it’s just rounding up. And the system is not broken. Which is insane. Trust me stay away who knows what else I’d find wrong in their billing if I explored more. To say it’s 2 cents because it’s rounded but actually being charged 5 cents…. You will get massively overcharged at scale. If you are small… maybe you won’t see it. But if you think there is a chance to get multiple call and hang ups a day because they don’t want to use the IVR or they are just that client type that likes to call all the time. You could have massive bills that aren’t planned for at all. VS mightycall where the minutes are free. Just call and either clueless or they are intentionally stealing. I will be reporting them to BBB
