Hey Melissa, This is the first time we are hearing about this issue. Had you written in to our team we could have helped with the fit issue. We appreciate you writing in with your concern. Your dog's comfort is very important to us and something we kept in mind when designing the Joyride Harness. If the buckle is rubbing, then we believe that harness needs to be adjusted for proper sizing and fit. If there is any friction or rubbing behind the leg then we recommend loosening up the front Velcro strap, so the harness sits further back on the dog. This should create enough distance between the buckle and the leg. Hopefully this helps!

Great harnesses
Great harnesses for my 70 lb lab and my little 15 lb chihuahua/min pin mix! They go on and come off easy! My little dog has a very sensitive trachea and ends up throwing up bile from harnesses that put any amount of pressure on the neck and this one does not do that! They are so comfortable they have even napped in them after a walk. They are really easy to clean as well. Dry very quickly too. I love how vibrant they are (green and orange) for good visibility at night. Highly recommend!

I love Joyride Harnesses
I love Joyride Harnesses. I have one for my rescued pit bull and I just adopted another pittie mix the middle of March. I just bought another one for her. I love the colors, the fit and ease of putting it on and off. It is easier to walk my dogs with this harness than the one I had previously.

I have been looking for the perfect…
I have been looking for the perfect harness for years and finally found it. This harness is the best it’s so easy to put on, it’s comfortable for my dogs and it’s secure, they don’t slip out of it. I also had to make an exchange. The company was great about it not a problem at all. take the time to measure it’s worth it. High marks on all counts. Thank you!
