I read all the info and watched all the videos on the site. I followed the process and got a consultation with Erin Farr. I joined five minutes early and waited 48 minutes before Erin booted me from the waiting room without joining the scheduled meeting. I went back to the waiting room and was booted 5-10 minutes later. I rejoined and I'm writing this as I wait for Erin Farr. I'm not sure why they are doing this... Seems odd to me!

Horrible, rude. Told I was accepted but still had an interview to tell me I’m not worthy of their time..no compassionate conversation with suggestions or alternatives.

I have never left a negative review in my life, so for me to be here this is bad. I'm a healthcare provider who has also experienced trauma. My first engagement with this company has been incredibly negative. After completing my intake and confirming my appointment, I entered the meeting early and no provider arrived. I was left on "waiting host to join meeting" for 35 minutes. I sent texts to their customer service line at 7 min and 15 min, only to eventually receive the message "... We missed you at the consultation. Is there anything you need help with regarding joining? Here's the link to reschedule: ___. It would be great if you could try to join us about 5 minutes early next time. Please let us know if you need help!" I followed up with clear explanation of my experience and no corrective response has been offered. Feeling very frustrated by the medical gaslighting, and will make sure my mental health and wellness network knows about this. Do NOT entrust your mental health care to this company.

I had such a bizarre experience with joyous. I will say I had an extremely life altering event occur prior to me signing up for their subscription and because of this adhering to a daily regime was impossible. I have come into a care taker role because of my parent being severly injured by a reckless motorist. This was the first issue and my attempt to speak with someone to inform them of my situation was met with no assistance and no real human to speak with. After this I had one mistaken dose which truly I did not mean to do and after this I was told I had violated the terms and that I was being removed from their system. I was so confused how a mistake for which I openly shared would be perceived this way but the bigger piece was that I requested to speak with someone on the matter and was told this would happen but two weeks later was informed over text that no conversation would be allowed. I have repeated asked to speak to someone. I have only engaged directly in a call with one person for 10 minutes in total and those calls were unprofessional and lacked any caring whatsoever. The calls happen over zoom and will entail being in the “waiting room” 30 minutes after your appointment time. I am sharing this review to inform everyone of the severely subpar care that is provided here. Yes you will being given VLD ketamine easily but if you want an actual human to speak with you will have NO Opportunity to do so. Look for a phone number - this is purely text which infers a business model with no investment in customer experience or safety. I was finding the VLD Ketamine helpful and wanted to dialogue with someone about this as I had circumstances that the daily questionnaires did not let me speak to. In short this looks like a cash grab rather than a service with the intent of helping others. Follow up - Joyous has now flagged my statement saying it is false. I have attempted to speak with them innumerable times on the matter and they have only "texted" me responses. I think what is the most clear is this is a business with a flawed model and lacking the humans needed in order to provide one on one contact. I'd like to believe otherwise as I do believe they have something positive to offer but with them failing to speak with me in a professional way and now trying to remove my authentic sharing it would seem another corporate giant trying to bully the individual.

I'm going to preface this by saying i've been in medicine for forty five years. The lady I faced today on zoom had an attitude and clearly had ZERO compassion. I take ONE 5 mg PAIN pill at night for a genetic disorder I was born with that affects my back. I was treated like a eighty year heroine addict or something. So not only are we shamed if we have pain and are doing pain management. And following doctor's orders, now we can't have any help with depression or anxiety. No wonder suicide rates are up. The person I spoke to had a bad attitude and looked down her nose at me and refused to even talk to me. I have never treated a patient The way I was treated today by that upity you know what. 99% sure she was not a physician... . DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME.

Original review follows this update): I received a request from Trustpilot to verify my customer information, and also another email from Joyous stating that they billed me because they have provided me with service (essentially through the end of the month). So I went to log in tomy Joyous account to get the info Trustpilot requested--only to find that I can no longer log in. The error message reads, "Only Joyous patients can log in with a phone number." In other words, they charge me for an extra month and claim they can't reverse the charge because they have provided service, but at the same have locked me out of the website. People, PLEASE do your research and look at what people have to say about their business practices--a company who is in the business of treating people with mental health issues! I am in the process of working with the Washington State Attorney General's office and I hope others who have experienced this kind of behavior do the same. And to think, I was going to pause my service for ONE MONTH because I couldn't afford it... Original review follows: I utilized the Joyous service for quite some time, and at first felt they were responsive and credible. However, after a while their service slacked to the point where they couldn't fill my subscription on time (though I was still paying). They finally sent my refill (though I received no credit for the missing days), and from there on I had to send reminders as the refill date approached. Finally, I paused the service for one month due to monetary constraints. Instead of pausing the service, they billed me a day early and then when I notified them of their error they told me they billed me because I had utilized the service within 20 days! Oh and be forwarned--the steps they list on their website for canceling their service are wrong. I tried following the steps on the website for days before I had to finally notify them by email. They then respond after another day to tell you to follow a link and fill out an "offboarding" form, which they sit on for another day... In other words, they add a bunch of obstacles to prolong your service to justify charging you again. Do a web search and you will find tons of posts with people asking how to cancel--definitely not something you see with a reliable company!

Not only do they have Terrible customer service but the medication made me unable to rest at all for the whole 2nd night that I took it. I felt nauseous and almost had to leave work after tossing and turning all night. I let them know how I was feeling and they completely disregarded anything I said and said they’d be happy to cancel. Oh and when I asked for a refund they were very quick to say that wasn’t an option. I would say more but I’m honestly trying to feel better and get some much needed rest. Oh and they say that they will reach out to your providers before they send out any medication.. they absolutely didn’t and my health care provider didn’t appreciate that she wasn’t contacted first. I highly recommend trying a better company who actually cares about the HUMAN BEINGS that they are offering mind altering substances to. I say that because from what I know the medication isn’t even FDA approved and they allow you to take it for 2 days before they tell you you’ll need to take your own blood pressure for them and send that in before they’ll “give you another higher dose” How do I even know I want a higher dose? It’s like in order to “level up” we need you to send us your blood pressure reading.. um that’s a red flag. What kind of medicine requires you to check your own blood pressure at home by yourself 40 minutes after you take a higher dose you aren’t even sure you need? I’m pretty sure that what we’re dealing with is an AI treatment center that takes no responsibility for you as a patient. No im not taking my own blood pressure and sending it in to you after I take the next dose of a medication “before I can get a new higher dose” Since when am I “ looking for the next higher dose of anything” They don’t have any compassion or concern for my wellbeing before they send it and when I say it made me sick on day 2 they refuse to let me return it for a refund? Ok, that’s a sign that I did good canceling it for sure. Ridiculous. I hope this doesn’t get deleted and it helps someone make their own choices on the matter.

I would caution most people to stay away from this company. There are many reputable companies that are working with Ketamine and those of us with mental health issues. Joyous is not one of them. There is little to no oversight by a medical professional. All communication are driven by AI or someone with a personality akin to one. I started the process of onboarding with them on Nov 29th. Payed for the medication on December 22nd. It's January 9th and they still have not gotten the medication ou. There has been nothing but a string of excuses for the delays most of which is them contirditing themselves. The icing on the cake was tonight however when I was told they care about me and my well-being which is why they were willing to work with me on resolving this manner. After all of this they still feel like they are doing ME a favor. Sums up the buisness model of Joyous in a nutshell. Avoid at all costs. There are many other programs out there with outstanding track records a few moments with Google will help guide you. *In regards to your reply Joyous you are still not taking ownership of your broken process. This had nothing to do with USPS and everything to do with you saying your Dr had released the prescription, took my money, and then lied about where things were. It is very obvious that you are in well over your head and you need to be reminded there are actual human lives on the other end. People who are suffering and were reaching out for help to only be taken advantage of. Do better, others are.
