I have been with Joyous for a month now. I have to say, I am very impressed with them in every way. Yes, the primary way to contact is by text; however, I have found them to be very responsive. At first, I didn't notice any changes but it's because the dose was too low. That being said, when responding to the daily feedback request they quickly adjust your dose accordingly, which I am super grateful for as I am starting to notice a difference after trying everything else (including ECT and TMS) which failed. I highly recommend this company and would give them 10 stars if I could!

I just started treatment. This review is based on appointment, payment, and delivery of medication. I was able to get an appointment the day after I heard about joyous from a friend. The nurse practitioner was kind and efficient. After the appointment I was sent a link to pay for the medication. I used my FSA card so financially it was not a burden to me. 2 days later I received a text with the tracking information. 3 days after that the medication arrived at my home. The process was exactly like the YouTube videos stated it would be. They sent me a text saying the medication had arrived and asked when I wanted to start before I even knew the package had been delivered. I made a mistake with the dose because I didn’t read the email clearly. The email they send when the medication arrives is very clear if you don’t do what I did (skim :/). After I took the first dose I took the time to re-read the email and realized my error. I text the company (on a Saturday) they text back after 45min and they asked if I was feeling ok. I had no side effects so they said I would be ok. It was very nice to just be able to text with a problem. If I felt I was in very serious danger I would have gone for medical attention but waiting 45 min seemed reasonable. I have a lot of anxiety talking to people on the phone so for me texting and occasional zoom check ups are exactly what I need for optimal communication.

They just continue to be a understanding support

I have been a subscriber to Joyous since Feb. 2023. I have researched this therapeutic treatment extensively after decades of “living with” my chronic symptoms of depression and anxiety. The treatment and protocol are easily adaptable to my daily life, and I am very grateful for their benefits. Since my membership started, the company has made several improvements to their tech stack and AI that have contributed to a much better client experience. My FSA now accepts the monthly subscription without requesting receipts, and the Care team is typically very quick to respond. After finding the correct protocol for me, the daily reminder texts switched to weekly. Before Joyous, I thought I was doomed to be depressed and anxious for the rest of my life. This treatment has improved my daily life without interrupting it. Hope is a thing again. As with any startup in a newly deregulated industry, there were some hiccups along the way in their operations. The team has made substantial improvements to their daily jotforms, messaging, and dosage reminders. I look forward to seeing additional improvements to support their scale. I think the two things would benefit the Joyous / client relationship. First is a dedicated client portal app or browser UI for check ins and appointment reminders to complement the SMS. Second, a simple single phone number to call with an IVR for medical, logistical, or technical help. Like their clients, Joyous is due a little grace. No stars deducted for this reason, because I owe this service the credit for seeing life a little brighter now.

Joyous has changed my life. After a few days I started to FEEL again...and now after more than 2 months, I am a new person. My depression and anxiety treatment with traditional pharmaceuticals had stopped providing relief and without Joyous, I have no idea how I'd be feeling today. The process is thorough and the AI communications were easy to do and follow. So very grateful for this type of support!

Amazing customer service/treatment team.

Joyous has been a life changer. 3 months ago I was essentially housebound. I didn’t want to do anything and had little motivation to change due to crippling anxiety and a lack of self worth. Within the first month of treatment I was out of the house and reconnecting with friends I hadn’t seen in over 20 years. It felt as if a switch had been turned on and I became the outgoing person I once was. I can’t recommend this treatment enough. For anyone debating whether or not the cost is reasonable, financial assistance is available. I live on a fixed income and they worked with me to fix a price that is affordable to me. The treatment includes daily check ins and Zoom visits with a physician. Everyone is so kind and always immediately available to answer questions or concerns. This protocol is nothing short of miraculous and I highly recommend it to anyone who is struggling. It works.
