Hi Jake, we're so sorry to hear about this negative experience. Our treatment is a monthly subscription charged on the same day monthly, unless a patient requests to pause their subscription or cancel it. The monthly charges aren't based on medication that's sent out, as it's an all-inclusive medical subscription including provider appointments, medication as-needed, access to our Care and Nurse teams, and access to the courses and resources on the Be Joyous portal. Patients can always request to cancel or pause by texting or emailing the Care Team and submitting the offboarding form to let their provider know. We truly hold ourselves to high ethical standards and ensure the cancelation process is clear on our website, terms of service, and shared by our Care Team directly when requested. We're looking into your specific situation and will reach out directly if we haven't already. When a patient requests to cancel, they just need to submit the offboarding form so their medical provider is aware that they are stopping treatment and to provide recommendations for care when transitioning off a medication. Patients can cancel at any time, but due to DEA federal regulations, if a refill has already been sent out to the patient, we are required to charge for that medication (because it is a controlled substance). Medication is sent via temperature controlled vehicles, and in rare cases where medication arrives melted or we receive inconsistency reports, our pharmacy works to investigate the issue and get replacements shipped as quickly as possible. We’re really sorry to hear about your frustration with your experience. We strive to provide timely support to all our patients including accurate medication adjustments. Our Care Team is working on responding to the influx of messages, and are in-office Monday-Friday 9am-5pm PST. If you may have messaged us during off-hours or over the weekend, our team works diligently to respond on Mondays as soon as possible. We really are dedicated to supporting all patients and making this treatment as seamless as possible. In regards to microdoses working, we hear that you haven't felt much improvement over the past month. While some patients do experience noticeable improvements in the first month, every body is different and many patients experience the biggest improvements in months 2 and 3 of treatment. Our data shows that microdoses are incredibly effective for mental health and we really hope we can support you through the rest of your journey.
