I do not reccommend this service. I spoke with a medical professional by Zoom call and desribed some anxiety and sleep deprivation that resulted from it. They gave me a perscription and I started taking it. No real change, except for the feeling of being on drugs every night before bed. Eventually had to stop because I couldnt dedicate 2-3 hours a day to being on drugs. When I made a second appointment to cancel, the medical nurse practitioner I spoke to said I should have never been given the perscription in the first place because my symptoms didn't align with anythign treatable by Ketamine. That's malpractice! How was I given a schedualed drug to take with almost no oversight except daily text messages?! They cancled my service and then charged me for a perscriiption refill....which I never got and explicitly requested not to recieve. They then refused to refund me. They are basically just shady internet drug dealers operating through a loophole. I do hope it helps some people but be careful what actions you take based on people selling drugs online. update: i got a refund for the most recent charge (allegedly) after posting this review.... do with that information what you will.

This company is a scam—they will do their best to not refill your medication whilst continuing to charge you monthly, and will not refund you! They tried sending me to two separate providers today, and still at the end of the day I have no refill available. My first medications were sent early June, and I have been out for a long time, they do not care. Will they ever refill it? Who knows! But they sure love charging me in the mean time! This company is shady and does not treat its patients professionally. Don’t waste your time and money, quit now, and use another company I’m not kidding they are so awful!!

they found a compound lab where ketamine gets shipped from. def Predatory business practices, shipping issues, billing issues...they shut down my ability to access my portal so, it's been emails and FB messenger where they promise to ' pass it on to their team" - not recommended for mental health. I've been fighting for my refund since april - it's july 8. No response from the many offers to contact their ' care team' crickets.

Predatory business practices, no real support, faulty automated system, medication that is not consistent. Joyous requires you to pay $130 every month even if you have not run out of your prescription. I was told that you are paying for the daily automatic check ins (which is the biggest scam). When I asked to pause the subscription (since I still had a bunch of ketamine left), I was told to pay or go somewhere else. So my suggestion to others is, go somewhere else.

I had an appointment scheduled Friday. I was under the impression that I would be receiving a phone call. I missed that appointment . I rescheduled for Monday. The time slot said 10, I got a notification that it was 11:10 but the appointment was at 12:10. I logged in an waited for nearly a half hour listening to the informational video on repeat. When the provider finally showed up, she said she couldn't hear me. My microphone was on on my end but the waiting room app wouldn't allow me to unmute myself. I see on the portal it reflects that I missed an appointment and am expected to reschedule a third time. I live in Utah. Mountain Standard Time. I try associating myself with MST, And inevitably it kicks me to Denver Time Zone. I spent a significant amount of time filling out the paperwork and watching videos. Im frustrated that I cannot call anyone to speak to. I wouldn't recommend this service to anyone. I've wasted days trying to get screened. I can only imagine how the rest of treatments will go if this is the bar set.

What a terrible billing issue. First off, they didn't get back to me regarding a dose change. Then I cancelled several times and they kept billing me. Do NOT sign up for a membership they are predatory.

Okay so I have been with the company Joyous for my treatment resistant depression and anxiety for over a year. The prescription cost is $129 a month which is a lot to me, but I can’t take traditional antidepressants because of side effects so I just always make sure to pay them. They have told me ( through a customer service agent) you have 28 days to make the payment ( which I’ve never missed) before the subscription is cancelled, so essentially a 28 day grace period. So, this month I was having financial troubles. My last payment was March 31 and it posted on April 2nd, and I recieved my meds on April 7th. They have told me multiple times they will not send out medicine if balance isn’t payed in full. i wasn’t able to make my payment until May 4th this billing cycle ( which was on the 28th day) but I made the payment. They still cancelled my subscription and told me I had to make another payment of $129 to continue treatment. They don’t have a phone number you can call, only emails and texts. I have been fighting with them all day, because come to find out….i have made 5 payments of $129 in the year 2025, but have only recieved three shipments of medication. I received medicine on January 31st, March 8, and April 7. But paid $129 four times this year PLUS the additional payment I made today because they said I had to or they wouldn’t give me a refill. This led me to have a complete mental breakdown and I feel like my health has deteriorated bc of it. I can’t even function to go do deliveries. They won’t explain to me why they charged me 4 times for three shipments. Plus the additional payment today for the upcoming shipment. They even sent me my own invoices showing I paid 4 times, but I guess they didn’t bother to look and see I only received medication 3 times this year. Do you think I could have a lawsuit against them? They won’t explain why I’ve been charged 4 times for three shipments plus the additional payment today for the upcoming shipment. I seriously can’t get any answer out of them. The medicine has been life saving for me. It’s really helped me and they know that bc I’ve thanked them a lot for it and told my doctor I see with them that it has changed me. It seems like they are holding the medication over my head. They knew I would pay it again bc I’ve been on it for so long, so they were just negligent and didn’t do a full search to see if hat they’ve only sent me medication three times for 4 payments in 2025. I had a mental breakdown and I did curse at them through messages a lot. Of course they messaged back to that and told me they wouldn’t tolerate that or argue with me and of course I apologized and told them I just wanted an answer, but they refuse to answer and explain to me why I made 4 payments for 3 shipments plus the additional payment they said I must pay today in order to get an upcoming refill. I’ve heard other stuff on Reddit and BBB website about them doing things like this, but I never thought they would actually be like that.

They don't offer actual therapy so it's basically getting high and practicing "mindfulness" or some such bullshit.
