I wish that they would make clear on how to pull reports. Because it feels like it's locked behind a paywall to be upgraded and it shouldn't be that way. However, the features and free attributes that it already has is superior and everyone should be using this app. This is just my experience using this for about a year now. The payroll downloads. It will not be accurate unless you go by their first to 15th and 16th to 31st. Meaning the payroll that you run should only be allotted to those two runs. So your employees are out of luck for a week to a week and a half in between. But you will have accurate quote" I need to just see the payroll for the month of June " This will be the only time it will be definitive and not pulling from other months because it's lumped in a bi-weekly or weekly payout.

I did not join homebase. All I was doing was looking into it, that's it! I did not sign up for anything your company has to offer. So in turn if you signed me up for something and are going to bill me for something that I never wanted then you better undo it or I will discuss this matter with my attorney and then I'll let him handle it in anyway he seems fit to do.

She walked me thru each issue I was having and found answers for me while I was on the phone with her. Never made me feel bad for asking.

I would not recommend Homebase Payroll. My experience was extremely frustrating from start to finish. Customer service was one of the biggest issues. Most support was handled through a third-party vendor, and I frequently received conflicting or incorrect information depending on who I spoke with. Instead of resolving issues, I often found myself spending hours following up and correcting problems that should never have happened. Payroll itself was unreliable. Even with AutoPay enabled, we still experienced payroll issues that required additional time and attention to resolve. As a business owner, the last thing you need is uncertainty around paying your employees or handling payroll taxes. The time and money I spent fixing issues created by Homebase far outweighed any benefit of using the platform. After only a few months, I switched to another payroll provider, and the difference has been night and day. Since switching, I haven't had a single payroll issue. This wasn't a user error or a learning curve. These were problems created by the platform and the support process. If you're considering Homebase Payroll, I'd encourage you to research other payroll providers before making a decision.

i am so frustrated with homebase customer service experience. It is nearly impossible to get a hold of any real person other than sales reps. I have sat on hold multiple times over an hour, only to be sent to a voicemail system. And they make it very difficult to find a way to contact them by phone. They don't post their customer service number anywhere directly that I can find. You have to call a sales rep and get them to transfer you to the right place. Which is then left with you stuck on hold. AND all this with us paying for the premium subscription. Edit: even in their response below, this link just funnels you to their ai support feature. They do everything they can to prevent you from reaching a live person.
