Update: I cancelled. Super unreliable company. My first reorder is hugely delayed. I’m due for the injection. My money was taken immediately but it didn’t arrive on time for my dose. I finally reached out to see why shipping shows it hasn’t even shipped yet and was told 7-10 days. So irritated, they can’t be trusted. On top of my first experience with the shady pharmacy they use. My current Tirzepatide/NAD+/B12 prescription. My current instructions are to inject 65 units once per week, and I am paying for a 12.5 mg weekly dose of Tirzepatide. However, looking at my vial, the listed concentration for the Tirzepatide is 17 mg/mL. Based on a standard U-100 syringe, injecting 65 units (0.65 mL) from a 17 mg/mL vial provides 11.05 mg of Tirzepatide per week, rather than the 12.5 mg dose. To get a full 12.5 mg dose from this specific concentration, the math indicates the volume should be closer to 73.5 units (0.735 ) My second concern is where my medication came from. Boothwyn Pharmacy. The FDA issued a formal Warning Letter citing insanitary conditions, subpotent tirzepatide batches, and unverified product storage instructions (such as labeling the product to be frozen without stability data). Furthermore, the Pennsylvania State Board of Pharmacy fined them $1 million for compounding GLP-1 medications in unauthorized, uninspected spaces.
