Unfortunately, my experience has become even more cumbersome, confusing, and disorganized. This has been one of the most difficult healthcare companies I have ever dealt with. My first provider failed to attend my scheduled appointment and later inaccurately stated that they had logged on and called me. I offered documentation supporting what actually occurred. A second appointment was then scheduled, and that provider was also late. During the second visit, I was informed that the 15 mg Zepbound option that had been displayed and selectable during the company’s intake process was no longer available, and that I would instead receive a 12.5 mg compounded tirzepatide formulation. Now, after the visit, my written treatment plan does not even appear to match what the provider told me. The After Visit Summary lists approximately 11.125 mg, not the 12.5 mg that was discussed. When I contacted Patient Support simply asking them to verify whether the provider made an error in the notes or prescription, I was told they wanted to schedule yet another appointment rather than simply contacting the provider for clarification. At this point, the problem is no longer one isolated issue. It is the repeated lack of consistency between the website, the providers, the prescription documentation, and Patient Support. As a patient, I should not have to repeatedly schedule appointments just to determine what medication and dose I was actually prescribed. I am requesting that Embody formally review this entire experience, clarify the prescription directly with the provider, and explain how these repeated communication and documentation failures occurred.

We completely understand your frustration, especially after having two difficult appointment experiences and receiving unexpected information about the medication option you selected. We’re truly sorry for the delays and confusion this caused. Your concerns deserve a proper review, and we’d like to have both the appointment experience and medication issue looked into so we can understand what happened and determine the best way to address it. Thank you for bringing this to our attention. Embody Team
