EMBODY IS AN ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND GO ELSEWHERE. I genuinely regret signing up with Embody. If you're considering them for GLP-1 treatment, I strongly encourage you to look elsewhere. Between the repeated delays, medication issues, and complete lack of accountability, I've lost all confidence in this company. First, they didn't even provide enough medication in my previous vial to cover my prescribed doses for the month. I had to take less than prescribed because there simply wasn't enough medication. Then my next prescription sat at their pharmacy well past the time I should have already received it. No tracking number, no explanation, and no reliable delivery estimate. This wasn't an isolated incident. Delayed prescriptions have been a recurring problem. I spent an absurd amount of time dealing with their online chat, which appeared to be an AI chatbot presenting itself as a real representative. It repeatedly assured me my issue was being escalated, but after pressing for confirmation, it admitted it couldn't even verify that an escalation had occurred. I repeatedly requested a supervisor and got nothing but scripted responses and wasted time. I finally called customer service, only to discover that speaking with an actual person wasn't much more productive. The representative was polite, but couldn't expedite my prescription, issue a refund, explain the delay in any meaningful detail, or offer a workable solution. What concerned me most was their explanation that the pharmacy was overwhelmed by an increase in customers and orders. That's a business operations problem, and existing customers should not be paying the price for it. If Embody cannot accommodate additional prescriptions, they should address their fulfillment capacity before continuing to expand. Instead, customers who have already prepaid for their treatment are left dealing with delayed medication and interrupted dosing schedules. If processing takes longer, prescriptions should be submitted earlier. Managing that timeline is Embody's responsibility, not the patient's. To make matters worse, I was preparing to leave for a weeklong vacation, and they couldn't guarantee my temperature-sensitive medication wouldn't be delivered to my empty house while I was gone. They couldn't refund me or even ensure the shipment would be held. Their solution was to call back for a replacement if it arrived while I was away and was no longer usable. If they can't reliably fulfill my original prescription, why would I have any confidence in their ability to provide a timely replacement? I ultimately canceled my membership. Future charges have been stopped, but they've still got my money, I still don't have my medication, and I have no idea when or in what condition it will arrive. And apparently, I'm far from the only customer dealing with this. After looking into Embody's parent company, Modern Metabolic Medicine, Inc., I found that it has a C- rating with the Better Business Bureau, nearly 200 complaints, and an average customer-review rating of approximately 1 out of 5 stars. Reading through the complaints, I found other customers describing nearly identical experiences involving delayed medications, interrupted treatment, poor communication, and denied refunds. These aren't just occasional shipping mishaps. There are repeated reports of the same problems, and I wish I'd read them before signing up. The most frustrating part is that once you've prepaid, you're left with very little recourse when they fail to deliver. No refund, no dependable fulfillment timeline, and no meaningful resolution. I understand occasional shipping delays. What I don't understand is a company providing ongoing prescription treatment failing to account for those delays and leaving patients to deal with the consequences. If you're considering Embody, take this as a warning. You're trusting them with your money and your prescribed treatment. Based on my experience, I wouldn't recommend trusting them with either.

Hi Kayla, thank you for taking the time to share your detailed feedback with us. We hear your frustration regarding the underfilled vial, the recurring shipping delays, and the lack of clarity around your delivery schedule while preparing for travel. Interrupted dosing schedules and unhelpful support interactions are unacceptable experiences when managing prescribed care. This is certainly not the level of care we aim to provide to our patients. We would truly appreciate the opportunity to make things right and will be reaching out to you to gather more details. Your experience matters to us and we're committed to addressing your concerns. - Embody Team

I cancelled 6 weeks ago and just got almost a $400 charge. This is a scam, don’t use this company. Customer service is awful and I’m still disputing and I didn’t get the medicine.

Hi Becky, thank you for sharing your feedback. We are deeply sorry to hear about your experience, especially regarding the unexpected charge after you requested a cancellation and the frustration of not receiving your order. My experience with Mel was very helpful. She took her time answering all my questions. Other companies just send the medication and your on your own. Mel made me feel like a person and helped me feel confident in choosing this company to help with my needs.
