After being unemployed for 2 months and trying to navigate the worst job market in recent years, I decided to search the internet for some career coaching. Jobtest.org came highly recommended and it was affordable, so I dove in! After completing my assessment, I was matched with Lynn George, and let me just say I think she has been the perfect fit for my personality, my ambitions, my career goals, and my current situation. Lynn is extremely genuine, empathetic, and real. She is super smart and an amazing coach. She really works to get a sense of WHO you are and WHAT you are looking for before really digging in. She’s given me some great advice during my job search, helped me present myself as a true leader, and has also kept me positive and motivated as I move through this journey. Lynn and I met once for an hour and I scheduled another 30 minute meeting in my first month subscription. I planned to cancel my subscription after a month, but in our second meeting, I realized how much I appreciate and enjoy Lynn’s coaching, so I signed up for another month on the spot! Anyway, can’t say enough about Lynn, her coaching style and her value! Highly recommend!

Having recently moved to NYC, I found it hard to navigate the job market, and get interviews for the jobs I was interested. I felt stuck, and decided I needed to change my approach, because 'If You Always Do What You've Always Done, You'll Always Get What You've Always Got'. Since my coach Tom Chapman provides me with feedback and input on my CV, cover letters, and interviews - but also with mental support - I have been experiencing very positive and encouraging results. Finding a job is frustrating at times (it still is), but knowing you're doing the right thing, and getting positive results makes it a lot easier. I am very happy I reached out for help and would encourage everyone to do the same.

Job test produced a number of interesting career suggestions for me and my career coach, Erin Howard, is empathetic, encouraging, responsive, and helpful. Her words during our session felt like a light in the dark.
