Jobtest.orgReviews of jobtest.org

Worth the money to help get to know yourself even more when you are feeling so stuck. So far found some job titles I didn’t know existed but seem very exciting to explore.

I had an excellent experience working with Rebecca Kronenbitter as my coach! She is very caring and empathetic while also being very organized and efficient with our use of time. She helped me stay focused on what mattered most and make lasting improvements to my networking and job search process. She helped me gain clarity in what I was looking for and gain skills and confidence in going after it.

I went to Jobtest.org because I wasn’t happy with the direction my career was heading, and I didn’t have a clue what I wanted to pivot to. Jobtest gave me a placement/aptitude test that was able to give me some guidance for what I liked and didn’t like, but more importantly it put me in contact with a career coach named Shannon Ring. I paid for about 7-8 30-minute coaching sessions with Shannon over the course of about 3 months. Her process for helping me figure out what I liked and didn’t like from first principles—what my personal values are, whether or not the roles I have had previously aligned with those values, and what kinds of future roles *would* align with those values—helped to direct my focus for finding a role I would enjoy that I could easily transition over to with my current experience. Shannon was very patient and encouraging the entire time, and helped me to be honest with myself about what I was looking for in a future role. I have a solid idea of what I’m looking for for my next job, and I have Shannon to thank for that.

I wanted to take a moment and recommend Zanetta as both a coach and mentor. I was dissatisfied with my work and looking to figure out something that was both more meaningful and fulfilling. She helped guide me and direct me to find a path that would meet those requirements for me. In addition, when my company was in the process of downsizing, she helped give me the confidence in myself to take a leap of faith to find that new job and leave on my own terms. She was able to provide the tools and the pathway to find my next opportunity. I'm incredibly grateful for her guidance because I don't think I would have gotten where i was going without her help. If you're considering reaching out and asking for her help, I couldn't possibly recommend it more.

This was, by far, the most comprehensive test I've ever taken for an assessment like this and I really appreciate that. I've only seen the limited version of my report, but the personality section is spot-on. Based on the jobs it asked me to rate for fit, they all seemed spot-on as well. This is such a great tool to help gain self-awareness and direction when you feel a little stuck or need some inspiration.

I was a little skeptical when I first came across jobtest.org, and now I'm so glad I gave it a shot! The test gave me good insight into the direction I should look for my next job. Working with Julie MacWilliams was invaluable. She listened, gently steered, and encouraged while provided great resources and tasks for me to complete which moved me forward in my job search. From deciding what kind of job I wanted to how to connect with future employers to practicing for interviews...she has it all! Can't thank her enough for her guidance and support!

The test took a minimal amount of time and the layout of the results were surprisingly comprehensive.
