When things go wrong, don't expect a response!
We have been loyal, repeat Jet2 customers for years and have already booked future holidays with them for 2027. Our recent trip to Paphos (Booking Ref: 18680042/S26H) started brilliantly—the airport team at East Midlands, the flight crew, and the hotel staff were top-notch. Unfortunately, an administrative error by the resort rep omitted an essential medical request for front-row coach seating for my wife's severe hidden disability (following esophageal cancer surgery). This resulted in severe panic, physical distress, and a ruined end to our holiday, forcing us to abandon the excursion and pay out-of-pocket for a taxi. What makes this worse is the complete failure of Jet2's customer service channels upon our return: The online complaint form failed on submission. Phone support requested an email directly to an advisor, who then claimed it was never received. Having no direct phone number for Customer Support, I escalated the matter directly to CEO Steve Heapy—and got no response or acknowledgment after multiple emails. I have now been forced to escalate this directly to Robin Terrell, Chairman of the Board. It is deeply frustrating that Jet2's fantastic front-line staff are being severely let down by a complaints system that ignores loyal customers when things go wrong.
