As many others have found, they will take your money and sit on it for a long time saying they are waiting on the part to ship. Only after asking them did they refund my money and informed me that the part was discontinued and they had no way to ever actually get the part. I wonder how long they would have just sat on my money with no intention of ever actually getting me the part.

Very arrogant about what they did and they didn't show me what they replaced or try to show me what the items were that was fixed.Will never used them again for anything and will not purchase anything ever again.There hourly rate is 100.00 an hour thats a little excessive. We'll I consider them to be poor people freindly.

Avoid these dirt bags at all cost. Tried to buy a bagger for a wright stander. Had to file a credit card dispute to get my money back. 4 weeks with nothing shipped and zero replies to messages.

I was very worried ordering $3,500 in EGO batteries from this company after reading many negative reviews about this company. I ordered 3 orders from Amazon through this company. Today I received my large order and it was perfect!! Exactly what I bought they shipped. The EGO batteries were brand new from EGO. The dates were April 2026 and August 2026. I registered them with EGO and got a 5 year warranty, therefore, I knew they were legit so I place another $1,200 order today for the same battery. They shipped it very fast, same day. I know I can trust them so I keep giving them business. The delivery service was exactly 3 days with FedEx.

Dawn was my customer representative. She went out of her way above and beyond to find the part for my mower engine that was a replacement for the original part that was discontinued. I bought my parts from Jack's but when the replacement part with an available she sent me to somewhere where I could buy it immediately in order to get my equipment back in operation. It speaks volumes about service when a company is willing to forgo their profits in order to be helpful to their customers. I have found Dawn and Jack Small Engines to be that type of company over the many years that I have dealt with them.

Parts were on backorder for months, and customer service gave me a false shipping estimate when I called for an update.

I ordered a lawn equipment item, paid for it, and THEN was told it was not immediately available - advertised as in stock / it was not. That was a month ago; still no item or response from the company. Update: As of 15 August, 106 days after sending Jack $600, still no merchandise or refund, after several telephone calls and emails . Just learned that the U.S. Postal Inspector has jurisdiction over email afraid. Have just provided that office of details.

I took a Whacker plate compactor in to the Alachua FL location because the engine would not run for more than 10 seconds and would not idle. I had just installed a new carburettor and gas tank but that did not fix the issue. Since I was busy on a job I called and they said I could drop it off straight away. I took it in and explained that problem and that the carburettor and gas tank were brand new, that morning, They said they would get on it and would let me know as soon as it was ready. After two days my wife called to get an update. She was told that it had not been looked at but would be done ASAP. When she asked how long it might take, she was told "I don't have a crystal ball. How would I know? If you want to take it away you are welcome to do so." After a week I phoned to get the status. I was told they had only had it two days and they have a 48 hour turn round. I told them I brought it in on Wednesday the previous week but the man on the phone told me I was wrong and according to the ticket it came in on Friday. He said "I am not going to argue with you". After two weeks, to the day, I called them up and they said they would call me back in 10 minutes with a status update. After 3 hours I called back and they said they were working on it. After an hour, they called me to say it was ready. I drove there and picked it up, paying the $96 charge. They opened the carburettor up and told me the float was stuck (brand new carburettor). They had replaced the spark plug and changed the oil. There was a half an hour of labour billed. I got the Whacker home and fired it up. It ran, but would not idle. It now runs fast but at least it runs. On quick inspection I found the pipe from the valve cover to the intake manifold had not been connected up, the spark plug has been replaced and the oil changed but nothing else obvious has been done. When I paid the bill I looked up on the wall behind the desk and there, displayed proudly and prominently, is a picture of Donald Trump. Obviously the owner is a MAGA cult member. His bad mood and terse response probably caused by the disappointment in his leaders inability to do any thing he promissed. Had I seen that when I first took it in I would have turned right round and left. You simply cannot trust these people.
