The charge a price and tack on a bunch of extra fees as the process continues on in order to deliver your boxes and these are not small charges. After paying nearly $200 a box for 48 boxes IVL stole one of my boxes and destroyed 17 other boxes that were covered in mold and wet upon arrival or squashed with the contents inside damaged or destroyed. I have pictures of this and sent all of these to IVL. They said insurance does not cover this and they will do nothing to help me. The below is the copy and pasted answer I received: We are so sorry to hear that loss and/or damage has occurred to your shipment. Although at times things happen that are out of our control and are rare occurrences, we are always saddened when we hear it has happened to one of our customer’s shipments. You did not purchase insurance on this shipment so there is no coverage, however, even if you had, your claim would be denied since you were only entitled to total loss coverage since we cannot verify the actual contents of the shipment being that you were a self-pack client.

Thank you international for your help, thank you truly you were patient and understanding to my family and what we needed. Traveling from Michigan to Oklahoma is a huge move and moving your entire life is an experience. Our items were cared for and customer service was exceptional. You guys are awesome

Stress free move from start to finish. The crew that loaded up our furniture did so with care and speed. Then a few days later everything arrived in perfect condition. Can't thank them enough for a great experience

I had used IVL once before and was very happy with their service. This time, not so much. The company itself is good and the staff is very helpful and professional. However, the contractors they use leave much to be desired. In New York, the guy who picked up or belongings couldn't be bothered to fill out an accurate inventory of our boxes, but then had the nerve to ask outright for a tip. Then the delivery of our things here in Madrid did not happen within the scheduled window. I can understand that unforeseen delays arise, but the thing that got me was that there was no communication from the delivery crew nor from the company handling the shipping at this end on behalf of IVL. I think this is unacceptable. We were told to expect delivery between 11:00 and 1:00 and it eventually turned up at 4:30. Not really good enough!

I recently moved from Oklahoma to Florida with 2 Antique cars and my wifes very delecate china collection. I didn't trust myself driving that far with our "babies" anymore than she did. So, I called a friend and they mentioned International Van Lines. From the inital call to unloading our China into the new dining room, the team with this fine business were professional, curteous, understanding of our nervous questions, and very careful with our most delicate items. I couldnt have asked for any better service! I'm so glad I called International Van Lines (If only they could have gotten my Classics in the dining room to...)

International Van Lines was really there for me when I needed them. In July, my family Moved from Cleveland, Ohio to Fort Myers, FL it was an 18 hour drive. When we were looking for a moving truck, one of my husband's coworkers refered us to the website. After reading the reviews and looking at everything I could on the website we decided to go ahead and rent a van for the move. The van was clean and fueled up when we got it so we made sure to return it the same way. They even made great accomodations for us to return it to them. I would definitely be a repeat customer if we make a long distance move again. I mean come on they're even cheaper than a U-Haul truck. Thank you John.

OK so my husband and I found out in early June that we'd be moving to Phoenix 🐦‍🔥 for his job. (from East TX) We thought we had 3whole months. THEN some things happened 🤯😬😳 and suddenly we needed to be installed in Phoenix THE WEEKEND AFTER THE 4th OF JULY!! We Prayed. Someone told us about IVL. Oh my Lord they made it happen! They came and gave estimate that was within our budget and they didn't take advantage of our hairy situation. The crew got to it and had all of our belongings plus the second car safely in our new apartment in Phoenix by that next Tuesday the 9th!! We thought we'd been given an impossible assignment but they made it happen!! I hope this is our last move, BUT...... we know who to call just in case!! Thanks IVL!! 🥰
