Intercom is very lightweight and easy to use. I think all of us just naturally started using it without any formal training. It makes collaboration within a team very easy and transparent. We actually signed all the documents and were about to switch everything to Zendesk but at the very final hour decided to stick with Intercom because it was so much easier to use both internally and externally. Their support team always has responded to me within 1 day or less. At Zendesk it took me on average 1 week and at one point we had a billing question and had to wait 4 weeks for a reply.

Intercom has revolutionized our customer on-boarding process, allowing us to connect effectively with a much larger user community, and to consistently provide better customer experiences.

We have two issues with intercom: 1) When we set campaigns to stop at a certain date, they do not - with test accounts they continue to display untel we delete them.This makes it hard to track past campaigns. 2) We cannot capture much user data from our platform because Intercom will not sign our Supplier Data Protection Agreement form.This makes segmentation extremely cumbersome and hard to perform.

Brilliant way of communicating with your customers. OK to good support

Love Intercom, using it daily. My only complaint is that some of the best features are beyond our reach, price-wise.

No live support Product is okay. The support is horrible; no phone and no live support. This results in an entire day thrown away, waiting for the support(chat) of intercom to respond. The responds time (to any line) way to long.
