Writing this as I lay on this ridiculous uncomfortable bed not being able to fall asleep. I was having back and hip issues when I woke up on our 12 year old mattress so figured time for new one. Sales guy used his fancy words and basically insinuating this was the best mattress there and would help with all my issues. Wrong, it's so hard to get comfortable and fall asleep. It's so stiff and dips making my waist, hips shoulders and even my head hurt. I have to put pillows around me to add support. I wake up so many times throughout the night to change positions which is struggle to try and simply roll over. The so called value of this mattress is so not worth my pain and lack of rest, I just want to cry!

So I reached out to buy an Intellibed mattress directly from the company. I was drawn to the mattress for its pressure relieving properties and tried the mattress at Mattress Firm. To date my experience is horrendous. We order the mattress over 6 weeks ago. We were told 4-6 weeks for delivery. Ok, not great, but acceptable. So when 5 weeks passed, I called for an update. I was told it was shipped on June 27, 2022. On July 8, I called back for an update. I was told it was on backorder and just arrived at the warehouse. By this time I desperately need a mattress so I requested a cancellation. Lo and behold, 3 days later I get a call from a delivery company that the mattress was in my area and they wanted to schedule delivery. I called Intellibed, several times to figure out what was happening. Their customer service department is gutted and the message states call back during business hours. Well every time I called was during the business hours. I was then told they were understaffed. I was stunned by the chaos. For such a pricey mattress, one would expect top notch service. They definitely do not have their act together. No system to tell you the status of your item, no help if you have an issue. I decided to spend less and cancel. They left me with ZERO confidence. So glad I cancelled!

Bought the very expensive Intellibed Nightfall mattress 2.5 years ago. It is breaking down creating a lump and divots. Went to initiate a warranty claim and it was denied bc I removed the law tag. The tag specifically states the consumer may remove the tag. Intellibed does not stand behind their products.

We bought this bed in October of 2019, we have followed all of the instructions from the moment we bought it, turning it regularly, rolling back and forth on it, it just doesn't matter, we have lumps in the bed, my spouse cant's sleep on her side at all because of the the stinging pain that goes through her shoulders and has low back pain every time she wakes up. My situation isn't much different, my hips and shoulder aches if I lay on my my side, my back hurts if I lay on my back and I can't sleep if I lay on my stomach. For a $6000 bed and pretty much lifetime warrantee you would think it would hold up, NOPE. If you try and get anyone to replace it, you are out of luck you get shuffled between the place you purchased the bed and intellibed, neither willing to actually admit there is aything wromg with the darn thing. I had thought maybe it's just me, but no, the problems we are having are the same as everyone else. I wish I had my old Sterns and Foster back, I could use a good night's sleep.

I would definitely not recommend the starlight intellibed. I completely agree with the other reviews who noted the effects the bed has had on their bodies. We bought our bed one month ago and within the first 48 hours I began having numbness and tingling in my hips and legs and back pain--waking several times because of the pain. Several nights I have just got up and slept on the couch. We have beds at our other house and I did not experience this when I slept on those. I also stayed at a hotel and the symptoms resolved, but once I returned home I immediately had the symptoms return after sleeping on the bed. I am so sleep deprived, and look forward to traveling for work or a weekend away at our other home just to sleep on a different bed.I'm hoping that this will not become a chronic condition and that my symptoms will resolve in time once I'm no longer sleeping on this mattress. It felt comfortable in the store (but that was 5-10 min) and was well constructed. We purchased it on clearance (but was still expensive) and was told that it was final. I eventually negotiated with mattress firm where I purchased it after contacting the corporate office and agreeing to give it at least 30 days trial to see if I would adjust to the new mattress. By the end of the trial, my spinal alignment when laying down had become so affected that even when sleeping in my other beds, that never bothered me before, I was starting to have symptoms whenever and wherever I slept. Because of how severe my symptoms had become, Mattress Firm finally agreed to exchange the bed with a restocking fee, but refused to return any of the money above the price of the mattress I replaced it with.

We have had the Intellibed Nightfall now for 1 month. This bed is terrible! I wake up every day in excruciating back pain. The bed already has huge divits in it, that started within the first week. There was a huge lump in it, my legs were severely elevated when the base was flat. We rotated the bed after 2 days because the lump was so bad, now the huge sagging hole is where my husband's feet are. I am calling today to see if I can get rid of this horrific bed. The cost of this bed is outrageous and at this point I think I would sleep better on the floor. I have to use a heating pad for an hour each morning before I can even pull myself out of bed. Save your money! Terrible Terrible bed!

First bed I got sagged from a manufacturing defect. I knew because my parents have an intellibed that they love and it felt way better than mine, but the customer support was great and replaced it with a new version that is excellent. We very much enjoy it and sleep great on it. The bed is very comfortable and allows us to fall back asleep fast after each time a baby or other incessant tyke wakes us. Very helpful for young parents, and mental stability...

This mattress is so uncomfortable after less than a year. I wake up every morning with extreme low back pain. I have never experienced this level of discomfort in my back that radiating down to my hips. This bed was so expensive, it makes me sick to think about it and I feel trapped with this purchase. I have tried extra pillows, different sleeping positions, rotating the mattress (which is nearly impossible due to the weight). I take motrin and use salon pas just to get through the night. Please, if you read this, do not buy this bed. I regret it every morning.
