We went through the initial interview to determine eligibility and were informed of how the process works. They told us the approximate times of when we might expect to see the refunds and followed up regularly. There was a whole team designated to us that made the process easy. Thanks to Matt Tidman, Anival Torres, Kevin Woodhouse and the entire team at Innovation Refunds.

So here goes, I heard the ads on the radio. And I thought this sounds plausible. Ask our CPA who said we DID NOT qualify. I contacted Innovation Refunds myself and they said "we hear that every day." They ask me some questions and they said we DID qualify. They explained the process. Initial application maybe 10-15 mins. Then I paid my CPA to gather all the forms & paperwork they needed. We're a small company with 20 employees. Tyler Phanmaha, Ashton Nowell, Justin Godwin and Michelle Boren were the team that did all the heavy lifting behind the scenes. I spent maybe an hour writing a narrative about the trials & tribulations we endured thru COVID 19. Then sat back and waited exactly 7 months to get our checks. We got 6 very nice checks. I'm not gonna spend it, i'm putting it in the bank & let it earn 5% interest. :-).

After listening to the ads for months on Sirius/XM, I finally decided to give it a shot. After all, they claimed the initial application was 8 minutes. Well it wasn't exactly 8 minutes, but well worth the time. I received a call from Adrean Johnson-Wigley that same day, and he got our ball rolling. Then, Jessica Phillips walked my through the necessary information to be submitted. Both of them kept me on my toes and in the loop often until the conversation with the tax attorney (of whom MJ I most certainly do not want to leave out, she was great). Next was Tammy Bunkofske who regularly checked in and kept me informed of what to expect coming next. Finally, Lars Backstrom who walked me through the last steps getting to the finish line, and our refund. They were (are) all wonderful to work with. Thanks you guys. Bottom line, this group has it together. At no time was I confused or concerned. They handle virtually everything and hold your hand until the end. You will have to do some work on the front end as they no nothing about your business. But is not in anyway difficult. I have spent a total of about six hours, most of which was up front gathering and submitting the information. The Innovation Refunds team did exactly what they said and were refreshingly easy to communicate with. If you are thinking about it, stop thinking and do it, do it now.
