Michael, we are so sorry for the frustrating experience. It’s embarrassing that we let such an annoying bug slip through to launch - we apologize for wasting your time. We’ve since completely removed that forced popup so it never blocks anyone again. In 2025, we didn’t deliver on ad quality. We relied too much on AI to generate ad creatives and it was a mistake not to add a human in the loop. We now work with real human creators and integrated human review throughout the entire process. Appreciate you writing this Mohammed. We’re sorry for the frustrating time you had with us, we created a lot of unnecessary onboarding friction. This is now fixed. We’ve simplified the onboarding flow and removed any popups + required downloads. You can now sign up and explore the tools without running into any blockers or hurdles. We appreciate the honest feedback Alex, and we are so sorry for this frustrating experience. We had our priorities backwards and it’s embarrassing to look back on. Output quality was subpar as a result of over-relying on AI - it was a mistake to not add humans in the loop. Since then, we’ve moved to a human-led process and integrated human review throughout the entire process. We are so sorry for the frustrating experience, Ribbon Checkup. Our cancellation flow at the time created way too much friction and it was a mistake. We’ve since rebuilt that process to be a simple one-step button inside the dashboard. Our AI tools also failed to deliver on output quality - it was our mistake not to add a human in the loop. Thanks for flagging this Fab. Honestly, our legal and billing language was a mess. It was written during a period where the product was changing quickly and we didn’t prioritize making the terms as clear as they should have been. To be clear: you own your creative assets and output. It was never our intention to take ownership. We’ve rewritten those terms to be much simpler and more transparent so there's no room for confusion. Appreciate you calling us out on this :-) - Kennan (Founder)

Hey James, we are so sorry for the frustrating experience, it should not have happened. We didn’t deliver on output quality because we were over-reliant on AI workflows - this was a mistake. We’ve pivoted away from this; we now work with real human creators and incorporate human review for each step of the creative process. We’ve spent a lot of time fixing the core reliability issues and rebuilt major parts of the platform to make it stable. We’ve also added more support staff so we can respond to customers immediately.
