I used to love and rave about Honeybook. Now its become too expensive and time consuming with the limitations. For example you cant remove/edit items from item bank for building invoices so have to make sure every single line items is correct before sending (NOT TIME SAVING AT ALL) and if you make an edit now there are even more versions being created. This is still a problem despite saying its a feature that is coming for years. New builder for proposals is awful and clunky feels very limiting. Really don't like the new branding either but that has nothing to do with the functionality.

I am a service provider that has been using HoneyBook since I launched my business. HoneyBook has been key to the success of my business and has allowed me to scale and grow so quickly. What I love most about HoneyBook is that they listen to their customers and continue to improve their software.

Overall, I am looking for a new platform to switch to. I am only taking the time to write this review because I have been a honeybook user for many years (six I think!), and have recommended HB to a lot of friends and colleagues. But there are feature requests we have been asking for for years that have been completely ignored - in favor of creating things that people are not asking for (the failure of the "opportunities" feature comes to mind right away). I also was so excited to use smart files and thought they would save so much time, but those have been a disappointment as well and I had to immediately switch back to legacy files. There are also lots of things that are clunky or straight up do not work (like read receipts not working, or inquiry replies going to spam). Lastly, the way the HB team manages the HB users facebook group is an embarrassment. Either comments are completely stifled by not being posted at all, or if something negative/constructive is allowed through, HB is quick to switch off commenting. To me, it seems like HB is more concerned with attracting new users than keeping the ones they have.

I have been using Honeybook for over three years now, and it has been my rock-solid partner throughout this journey. As a photographer and coach, managing clients and their needs can be a handful, but Honeybook has truly revolutionized my workflow. I can confidently say that I wouldn't choose any other platform at this point. From the very first inquiry to finalizing payments, contracts, onboarding, and even client reviews, Honeybook effortlessly handles it all. This all-in-one platform has become my go-to solution for managing both my photography and coaching clients. The level of organization it brings to my business is unparalleled, and having everything neatly organized in one place is an absolute game-changer!

Honeybook is a great one-stop solution for small business owners. It eliminates the need for multiple platforms and provides so much value for the price point.

Being able to track clients & send proposals & invoices. The smart files & the ability to make them more visual if appealing have been an amazing addition. Streamlining the process with the scheduler now being able to go in with the smart files has been a game changer The only thing I’d like to see, is ability to create an edit via mobile
