First their product is inferior and non-effective. I am also very upset with the Honest Paws Trustpilot store's checkout process, noting that the "subscribe and ship" option is checked by default, leading to unwanted recurring charges. Then they charge $5.99 for return of product.

Trick you into a subscription; hard to cancel
The product was fine. But I was tricked into signing up for a subscription. When I realized it, I contacted them immediately. They said they would respond by email. Then the next shipment allegedly was shipped. Then they emailed and said they couldn't cancel because it already shipped. If that weren't enough, I tehn went online to try to cancel the subscription. They of course bury the cancellation and include options in the cancellation click-through that are designed to trick you into keeping the subscription. I will never purchase from them again.

Horrible Customer service - Beware of Extra charges added before Checkout
Customer service is Horrible & some contacts rude! I had trouble getting a response & then they ignored my complaint. When ordering, an automatic “Onward Checkout+” - $2 - was added to my invoice. Although I opted out, it was added anyway. I was told it could not be removed… & not even a future credit was offered. BEWARE of the little $2 things they add to your orders… it can easily go unnoticed but it helps them make a lot more money!

Hi, We're sorry to hear about your experience and appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback. We never want any customer to feel ignored or have a negative interaction with our support team. We sincerely apologize if we fell short of your expectations. Regarding Onward Checkout+, this is an optional service that provides benefits such as shipping protection, free returns, and an extended satisfaction guarantee. We understand your concerns about how it appeared during checkout, and we're sorry for any confusion this may have caused. Your feedback is valuable, and we'll be sharing it with our team as we continue working to improve the checkout and ordering experience for our customers. – Honest Paws

Sent Wrong Item, Never Corrected
Absolutely terrible customer service....Honest Paws sent me CBD for cats after I ordered CBD for dogs. They made me ship back the wrong product before they would send me the correct item that I ordered. Why should I be inconvenienced for your mistake? Then, when they shipped the correct item, they sent it to the completely wrong address--not the one listed on my order. At this point, I need to accept the $70 loss. Honest Paws--get your customer service under control.

Absolutely HORRIBLE customer service
Absolutely HORRIBLE customer service. My dog passed the day after I placed this order. I then asked if i can return the package unopened. I was told yes but i had to pay $6 shipping. I didn't care. I sent it back and they received my package on 5/21. I have been emailing daily with no response about my refund. I just want to stop thinking about this. I called their customer support line multiple times and each time it days its out of their business hours. i called both time IN their business hours. I have no idea what else to do other than report them to my credit card company and the better business bureau.

First and most important is that the…
First and most important is that the "Calm" oil did nothing to help with my senior dog's nighttime anxiety. Literally did nothing! Second, the ordering process is really sketchy. They trick you into ordering two bottles at checkout. I immediately emailed to say I didn't want the second bottle and to please refund me. I never received a response but then got an email saying my "subscription" had been updated to one bottle instead of two. So I did not get my refund as requested and I have two bottles of worthless oil.
