HomeyfadReviews of homeyfad.com

The two stars are because a bookcase was delivered, but not the bookcase as it was described on Homeyfad's website. It was described as a "wood" bookcase. What arrived was a slightly damaged Ikea style wood particle board book case. The book case arrived over a month late. HomeyFad sent periodic updates on tracking. The tracking information just showed the bookcase was in customs for a month+. This likely was not in Homeyfad's control. It would have been nice to have a direct communication, like other vendors do, indicating that the item was stuck in customs. Homeyfad did offer me a 10% discount off of future purchases to compensate for the delay. To HomeyFad: My recommendation is to be direct in your communications with your USA based customers and inform them when an order is stuck in customs. Also, for your USA advertisements do not advertise that a piece of furniture is made of wood when it is made of wood particle board. This is considered by purchasers/consumers to be false advertising. Instead simply indicate it is "wood particle board" in the same way other furniture retailers do.

I ordered some counter stools. The faux leather looked cheap. The stools also didn’t look sturdy and I worried about larger people sitting on them. I wasn’t too worried since I had a 30 day return. Within a week after receiving the order I emailed customer support requesting instructions on how to return. No response for several days and I repeatedly emailed. Finally, I threatened to report the company to my credit card and dispute the charge. They asked me not to do that. But still no instructions on how to return the stools. They offered a 15% discount if I would change my mind and keep them. More emails from me, no response from them. I once again threatened to dispute the charges with my credit card. And they will be back offering a 30% discount if I would decide to keep the stools. I told them no, I didn’t want them. Once again, I asked for return instructions. They told me that I had to have pictures of all of the merchandise. This means that I would have to unboxed all of the stools, even though I had only unboxed one stool to start and had repacked it. Then, they also requested photos of the inside of the box and the outside of the box. It seems to be, they are just trying to delay, delay, delay, and make it such a hassle to return that I would give up. Finally, I had enough and have disputed the transaction with my credit card company. I would never do business with this company again.

Buyer beware — I no longer trust HomeyFad My experience with HomeyFad has been extremely disappointing. I purchased furniture based on the product photos and design shown on their website. After the purchase, HomeyFad informed me that the product they intended to provide had been redesigned and was materially different from what I ordered. I declined the substituted product and requested a full refund. Instead of simply refunding me, they initially offered a small discount to accept the different product. I then opened a credit card dispute. HomeyFad later told me in writing that they accepted the dispute, that the order was cancelled, and that the full refund had been processed. The problem is that my credit card still shows the dispute as under review, and no separate merchant refund has appeared. HomeyFad has repeatedly told me that the refund was processed, yet my card issuer has not confirmed that. At this point, I do not trust this company’s representations. The product I was offered was not the product advertised, and their statements about the refund have not matched what is actually showing on my account. I would strongly advise other buyers to be very cautious and to keep complete records of everything.

Love this portable lamp! The design is beautiful, and I love how easy it is to move around the house. Perfect for adding a cozy, warm glow to any space.

I purchased y stools. It has been about 8 months. Some of the chairs started to tare, All of the chairs are buckling one of the foot rest on the stool is coming off. I called the company when I started having issues which was about 2 weeks after I got them. They sent a new chair. I have tried to reach out to them about the base they will not respond. These are very cheap chairs. They are not worth what ever you paid.

Ordered 6 bar stools, 2 were in stock and shipped immediately. The other 4 took 30 days to ship from China. The shipment tracker was very accurate. Overall they look great, well made, exactly like the photos in the catalogue. Price was very reasonable too. Only downside was building the stools. Several of the anchor mounts on the legs were not aligned/square. Required me use a drill to modify the wooden ring mounting hole. Otherwise it would be 5 star. Could not figure out how to add photos

I ordered 4 counter stools and expected the delivery to take several weeks. What a nice surprise when they arrived within a week, sooner than the delivery time that was stated. They were in excellent condition and easy to assemble. The company also sent me a gift of a lamp for my order. I would certainly do business with Homeyfad again. Thank you!

I ordered 4 bar chains and one of the legs arrived cracked. I contacted service and a new chair is being sent. Nice quality chairs, no complaints.
