No contingent offer in a competitive market
The process from start to finish was less stressful than if we had done a traditional contingent offer. Even though we end up selling our house quickly, you never know how those things are going to go and knowing that we could put in a cash offer on our dream house made it worth the extra fees. Between our amazing realtor, not related to homeward, and the homeward mortgage and title team, we had all of our questions answered and things went smoothly.

How Home Buying Should Be
The process from loan approval to being a cash buyer to having time to sell my home was so easy. I would not have been able to do with with out the Homeward program. Initial paperwork was signed April 26th. Homeward closed June 1. June 28th completed the purchase. So easy and not one issue during the process.

Easy, simultaneous buy and sell
Using Homeward helped us in a number of ways throughout the process. For one, we had a stronger negotiating position when we found the house we wanted. Then, we were able to move in sooner while still working to sell our old house, and since we have small children, this was a real blessing. My account manager Eric Layton was amazing to work with - very transparent throughout the process and I genuinely felt like he had our best interests at heart While you end up paying more for using Homeward, I believe we ended up saving money in the long run by being able to negotiate our buying price down, avoiding high-cost short-term rentals during the transition, and the credits that Homeward gave us for managing both the title on both sides of the transaction.
