$2,000 a month out of pocket for a gold plan and i still have to pay out of pocket everywhere i get treatment. My little boy needs a surgery and im told i have to pay another $1,500 out of pocket because its not covered under my gold plan i need a gold+ plan for it to be covered, dont waste your money

Oscar Health is always the absolute worst to deal with. The website is not clear about coverage, and their customer service is a total joke. No one ever has any correct answers to give, and confirming that locations are included in-network is next to impossible. This is my second time enrolled with them, and I am kicking myself for giving them a second chance.

High price, even with the gold plan we have a 8500 deductible per person, they love to deny prescriptions, and wait the alotted time to release them through the denial process so a month minimumif you need a medication. Xrays lab work in office procedures they only cover a portion. I cant wait till the end of the year to get rid of these a holes. They dont care about their customers only their bottom line. I couldn't imagine what would happen if I needed anything major done this year. 3 and a half months left.

Extremely disappointing customer service. Your business is only as strong as the employees who represent it, and unfortunately, the employees I dealt with were completely unprepared to answer basic questions about the coverage your company provides. I called three separate times and spent more than an hour on the phone, only to have your representatives unable to answer basic questions about emergency dental services under a medical plan. Three calls. Over an hour. Still no clear answer. If your employees don’t know the answers, they should at least know where to find the information or who to transfer the customer to. Instead, I was left wasting my time trying to get basic information about our patient's healthcare coverage. This level of customer service is unacceptable. When dealing with healthcare, customers need accurate answers—not confusion, repeated transfers, and wasted hours. Your company needs to seriously address the lack of knowledge and training among its customer service reps.

I'm still figuring out Oscar health insurance, but I did speak with Katie at the customer care line while looking for in network family practitioners. Katie was absolutely amazing, and patient. So that gives me a little hope that we are with a decent insurance company. I mainly reviewed because Katie was extremely helpful and kind.

DO NOT USE OSCAR. I had a numberof issues with OSCAR: mainly the list of providers on the website is FALSE (do not exist at that location or do not accept OSCAR; which is FRAUD). I was told by cust service messaging that I am the one who needs to verify the accuracy of what is posted..!!!.The last time I tried to enroll, my regular doctor had stopped accepting OSCAR because: 'they are so difficult to deal with and get paid'. Looking for nother provider in my area (I live in a dense urban center, 3 subway stops fro the World Trade Center, with 3 large medical centers at walking or one stop distance and many doctor's office). OSCAR could not find a MD as primary care provider for me in my area acepting them: only a PA or a Nurse....!!!! I switched as soon as enrollement period aloowed and kept my currant MD.

Please be careful with choosing this company. They fight to not pay claims, network of quality physicians is poor, RX coverages are false as listed on their formulary when you enroll. They don’t have ethical practices when dealing with their members.

Not a good company. Astronomical co-pays. Constantly denying treatment. Unforeseen charges. Stay clear of this company.
