I've never had a more wholesome communication with customer service ever. My chair arrived but was clearly dropped in shipping; the box was a bit mangled and as a result, the logo backplate of my chair had a broken tab and the headrest's ratchet did not work properly. The usual return process would have meant that I would have to package and return the whole chair and get a replacement. However I explained that I did not want to return my chair, because I have quite a bit of back pain and foot swelling and this chair was helping both of those problems in a big way. I also dreaded the process of trying to re-box the whole chair. So, I sent customer support videos and pictures of the problems. They promptly escalated my ticket to a very high person in the company, who explained that they would be happy to replace just those couple of parts once they got a new shipment in, and told me that it would take a couple of months for that to happen. I said I was happy to wait. THEY NEVER FORGOT ME. When the shipments did indeed come in a couple months later, they sent them and also made me a custom video showing how to best remove the old headrest and install the new one. This was good because I had forgotten that there were screws under the tab. They always responded to my emails very quickly, and during this process there were about 10 emails exchanged. I was left feeling that Hinomi truly cared about me and wanted me to be pain-free, and were willing to modify their return process just to help me out. And, again, they never forgot me. 3-4 months later I love my chair so much, it's everything I needed and I feel blessed to have it. It's made my life so much less painful and I's very grateful to Hinomi for all that they did for me as a customer. Thank you very much everyone over at Hinomi!

My chair started to go down on its own and the assistance provided was awesome, reactive and helpful. In less than two weeks i received a replacement part and installed it.

Bought an expensive chair and didn't use it for a few months as we were moving, and when I finally unwrapped it, it simply didn't fit/work for me, and no flexibility at all in terms of being able to return it despite not used. Conclusion: don't buy a chair online you can't test before you buy it!

Absolute waste of time. Avoid if you are a business customer. I placed an order for an office chair and requested a proper business invoice with my VAT number. What followed was the most absurd purchasing experience I have ever had. Their Shopify store cannot handle B2B sales, so they offered me an "offline B2B purchase" process. I agreed, provided all my company details, and waited. They then cancelled and refunded my original paid order, promising a VAT-exempt invoice within 3–7 business days. The result? After a full week of back-and-forth emails, I have received absolutely nothing. No invoice, no purchase order, no payment instructions. They took a customer who had already paid, refunded the money, and then simply disappeared. Buying a chair should not take over a week of emails with zero outcome. Their B2B process is completely broken and their customer service, while polite, is utterly ineffective. Each reply takes 24 hours and says essentially nothing. If you are a private customer buying with a credit card, maybe it works fine. But if you are a business expecting a professional transaction, look elsewhere. This company is not ready to deal with business customers. 1 star is generous.

Der X2 Pro ist mega bequem und passt sich perfekt meiner Körperform an. Am Anfang hatte ich leider einen Defekt bei der Wippfunktion, aber der Support war ausgesprochen hilfsbereit. Das Problem wurde schnell erkannt, das Ersatzteil unkompliziert zugeschickt. Seitdem läuft alles einwandfrei. Würde ich jederzeit wieder kaufen.

Exceptional customer service! I needed to return my chair but didn't have the original box anymore. Instead of refusing, their support team escalated my case and granted an exception so I could get a full refund. A massive thank you as well to the Paris showroom team, who did their absolute best to facilitate the return process. It's rare to see a brand so flexible and human. Highly recommend!
