OK, so maybe I was a bit harsh, but only due to frustration which is a part of setting up any laptop. The EVOC manual says my laptop can do certain things, that I would love to have, but apparently the manual is written for all of their laptops and not all models, including mine, can do all of the features mentioned. So when I was unable to make use of them, and tech support wasn't sure why (at first), I wrote the initial negative review. I need to mention that the sales experience with Ted was amazing, as it has been for my last 4 laptops. He really listened to what I needed, what I might like to have, and offered several suggestions as I revised and revised my machine. I do like the feel of the EVOC and it does perform as expected. Especially love the 17" monitor. In retrospect (and conclusion) EVOC should have made a note next to the features listing as to which model actually had that feature. Expectations not met led to disappointment. That is on EVOC, not HID.

BE AWARE THAT THEY SHIP PRODUCTS WHICH DON´T FUNCTION. I ORDERED A LAPTOP FOR 4k AND THE SREEN DOES NOT WORK. REPAIR ONLY ON OWN EXPENSE AND OWN SHIPPING COST. BETTER BUY ON AMAZON.

I've been buying all my laptops from HIDEvolution. Mainly because they ship internationally since I live in Dubai and accept PayPal payments even for international orders whereas other companies will only accept credit card or wire transfer for international orders but no PayPal. I love the customization they offer on all laptops and most importantly, the thermal upgrades. Nowadays laptops have very fast CPUs but in turn, they generate a lot of heat causing the laptop to overheat and thus, thermal throttle. The cooling upgrades they offer such as the upgraded thermal paste and thermal pads which they apply on heat sensitive components inside the laptop helped tremenedously. I've been buying laptops from them since 6 years ranging from Alienware, MSI, and Clevo and they've all worked flawlessly out of the box. Additionally, most companies will require you to send the laptop to them for any warranty claims and you've have to pay for shipping which is very expensive but HIDevolution offers a global warranty which covers shipping costs so one time when I did have a problem with the keyboard on my Clevo P870DM3 laptop, they sent me a courier guy to my home to pick up the laptop and send it back to them. They replaced the keyboard and sent me the laptop backc and I didn't have to pay anything as it was covered in the global warranty. It couldn't get more convenient really even if you bought a laptop locally you'd have to drive up yourself to the service center to drop it off then pay another visit to collect it once it's done. Highly recommended company and their customer service has been top notch!

Summary: I ordered gaming laptop with a custom SSD addition, waited a full month for processing, then found out they accidentally oversold it so the laptop was not available. Story: I ordered my laptop ($2500+) in late June after reading from HIDevolution's website that custom builds typically take 7-12 business days to process before shipping. I called on a Monday after roughly 7 business for a status update. I was told that it would ship by the end of the following week putting it at 17 business days which I was ok with due to covid delays. I didn't get a shipment notification so I called back on Monday following those 17 business days. I was told it would be shipped by the next day for sure. I didn't get a notification so I tried Support Live Chat on Wednesday. A manager entered the chat and told me they accidentally oversold the model so it wasn't available. He offered the same model with an upgraded processor for the same price ($100 discount) but it wouldn't be available for another full month and then expedited processing/shipping after that. How could I believe that when everything to date was untrue? I asked for an addition $200 off as incentive to stick with them since I would essentially be receiving this 2 months after my initial time frame but he was unable to oblige or come half way. I then cancelled my order and ordered from Amazon. Conclusion: This lack of communication throughout the process was unacceptable. I was not thrilled with it taking more than 7-12 business days to process but I was ok with it due to covid. The fact that they kept on relaying new shipping dates to me and then ultimately did not have it in stock was pretty terrible service. I was told that they didn't realize they oversold it until they attempted to work on it so they need to fix their internal communication to prevent issues like this. I wasted a full month just waiting while my current setup is down. I feel like they really didn't need my business - if they wanted to keep it then they could have offered a little more discount incentive like I mentioned above. I do not plan on ordering from them ever again.

I ordered a ZenBook Pro Duo from HIDevolution, with delivery to New Zealand. It was delivered in 8 days in perfect condition. I have nothing bad to say about the experience! Price was good, condition was perfect, and international delivery was FAST! Note that I ordered the stock ZenBook with no customisation. I couldn't comment on their customisation service.

Very friendly people but very slow to respond when issues arise. I bought a laptop from them but had to return it because I ordered the incorrect one. They accommodated me with the return but this was when problems arose. I requested a gaming laptop for the processing power, most have, and long battery life for said power. They told me they would get a laptop out to me in the time I needed but when that time came I received a call. They told me they were not able to get the laptop I requested and they gave me some alternative options. We went thru the options and I clearly asked about the processing and battery. They assured me it was a great computer. I got the computer and there have been nothing but annoying issues. The worst issue is the battery will not charge fully and dies within an hour of normal Word document writing and minimal web surfing. Now, no one from the office is answering my calls or emails. They said they would send me a repair RMA form before Thanksgiving and a month later still nothing. No email or calls. As it stands I would not recommend this company!

I've been their customer for years , and they never failed me . Everytime I had a problem Ted was one call away and everything was solved in a professional manner. The prices , the delivery time , the support everything is A+ . Thank you for everything guys

I bought a laptop from them that was defective on delivery, they refused to repair, replace or refund it. They claim they have a 30 day return policy, that was not mention anywhere on the site, invoice or emails I received, and regardless of that, it is still well within the extra 1 year of warranty I bought. EDIT: They did not attempt to troubleshoot at all, in fact they did less than that as I literally DID their homework for them by telling them what diagnostic tool to use, and what the offending driver that is causing the intermittent audio issues is including pointing out the readings that indicate the issue (the issue being DeferredProcedureCall Latency, or DPC Latency for short, being caused by ACPI.sys, a windows power management driver). Furthermore they refused to refund or replace a defective laptop that was still well within the warranty at the time of the initial posting of this review, and my attempts to get them to honor their alleged warranty that I even paid extra for. Extremely unprofessional scammers selling defective machines, do not buy from these people.
