I would have been a customer by now but due to a significant lack of communication, I have gone elsewhere for an MSI GS66. UPDATE: Ted Kim reached out to contest my post, listened to my complaint apologized and said HiDev will work on better communication.

I want to like them but I can't complete my purchase with them using Affirm. The reason why is because they automatically log you out when checking out with affirm, no matter the affirm app, Chrome, edge, pop up blockers on. Even opening a duplicate window that's logged in will log you out. Hidevolution seems to have fixed the issue and the order went through. Now it's a pre-order so hopefully that doesn't take long to go through! I

OK, so maybe I was a bit harsh, but only due to frustration which is a part of setting up any laptop. The EVOC manual says my laptop can do certain things, that I would love to have, but apparently the manual is written for all of their laptops and not all models, including mine, can do all of the features mentioned. So when I was unable to make use of them, and tech support wasn't sure why (at first), I wrote the initial negative review. I need to mention that the sales experience with Ted was amazing, as it has been for my last 4 laptops. He really listened to what I needed, what I might like to have, and offered several suggestions as I revised and revised my machine. I do like the feel of the EVOC and it does perform as expected. Especially love the 17" monitor. In retrospect (and conclusion) EVOC should have made a note next to the features listing as to which model actually had that feature. Expectations not met led to disappointment. That is on EVOC, not HID.
