Love this company, have been buying plants from here for years now. Customer service is awesome! Very helpful if something comes up with your order or if you have questions.

I discovered the site through the NYT Wirecutter newsletter, and I have never been disappointed with the plants I got. The website makes it easy to figure out what will grow where you live, if there are any pet hazards, etc., and I got introduced to new plants I'd never though of growing and now enjoy! The packaging has meant that I never received anything damaged, and the benefit of being able to look up care instructions on the website--and reminders from their newsletter--cannot be beat. Thanks!

Getting plants shipped always incurs a bit of risk, and a plant I ordered arrived worse for wear due to some rough handling in transit. The Hey Rooted team were very understanding and quick to find a solution. Since the plant I originally ordered was out of stock, they sent a replacement of my choice. I ordered a Calathea (notorious divas), and it arrived in beautiful condition with a couple of new leaves about to unfurl!

I have made multiple purchases from Hey Rooted and am always satisfied. My plant babies come packaged well and all of them looked healthy when I received and are thriving!

Holy guacamole!! The Rooted team is exceptional. Never have I ever emailed a company and received a response back so quickly. Not only is their timing impeccable but they genuinely answered my questions. Not half answered. Not tip toed around an answer. But answered to the degree that I didn’t have any more follow up questions.

I had a issue with a few of the original plants and you replaced them. So far every one of the plants are doing well.

I ordered 2 plants after receiving one as gift. One arrived under the same order number and the other didn’t. I’ve emailed the company since it’s not possible to glean where the other is. We’ll see if they reply as the plant sale was at least a 300% mark up!
Response from Hey RootedJun 16, 2025
Hi Swanzeller, hopefully you've received a reply by now, but if not, please email [email protected] so we can make sure you have both tracking numbers. Unfortunately I can't match your order by the information you've provided in this review. We look forward to hearing from you!
