Wish I can give zero stars. Your monthly data can be only half used and they'll throttle you and demand payment for more data, even if you have a lot of GB l ft on your plan. They lie. They are racists. They manipulate and steal from people. Avoid this company!!!

I switched to Helium Mobile because their phone plans are incredibly cheap, but the old saying is true: you get what you pay for. If you run into any technical issues, do not expect them to get fixed. I recently experienced incredibly low signal and a total outage with zero cell service in Salina—meaning I couldn’t make or receive calls or texts unless I was connected to Wi-Fi. When I contacted customer service, I was immediately dismissed and told it could take 24 to 72 hours just to get a response. I was bounced around to multiple agents, none of whom offered any help beyond basic troubleshooting steps I could have easily Googled myself. Instead of taking responsibility, they deflected the blame onto my phone and told me to go to the Apple Store, which wasted hours of my day for no reason. The overall experience was incredibly poor. If you just need a cheap plan and never need assistance, it might work for you. But if you actually need reliable support, look elsewhere.

Review Title: Completely unfair - Ending the Free Zero Plan and forcing a paid upgrade ​ Review Text: I am extremely disappointed with Helium Mobile. They are completely ending the free Zero Plan tomorrow. To make matters worse, they are trying to automatically upgrade customers to a $15/month paid plan if we don't cancel it ourselves. ​When I signed up, the whole point was the Helium Mobile Zero Plan with no monthly payment. Forcing people off a free plan and onto a paid one with barely any notice is terrible business. I do not want to pay. Giving this 1 star because you cannot trust their promises.

My experience was extremely frustrating. Porting my phone number turned into a nightmare. I was without service for 48 hours while my port-out stayed pending and never went through. I contacted customer support multiple times through chat, but different agents kept coming in and out, and I had to explain everything over and over again. There was no clear communication and no real resolution. After two full days with no phone service and no progress, I had no choice but to give up on keeping my number and get a new one. Very disappointing experience. No customer should have to go through losing service for two days and then lose their number because of a failed port-out. I hope they improve both their porting process and customer support.

I was just in the Helium Mobile discord & the CEO & co-founder of Helium & Nova Labs, is calling his customers parasites. I will never give this foul bafoon another cent. Disgusting individual. Look it up, it just happened, but by the time you read this it'll be easily obtained information. I'm ashamed of ever patronizing this guy. Helium will definitely go under, but this company has sold all your info anyways. He knows it's over & he's happy about it. Also said, "Good riddance." What an awful excuse for a human.

I used it for about 1 year on their free plan with 3GB. Then they started charging taxes around few dollars. Then they lowered it to only 1 GB data per month. Finally in May 2026, they got rid of the free plan for new customers. Don't upgrade and then try to downgrade your plan. I suggest keeping the free plan until they get rid of it completely. Now I need to port my number out.

Recent cancellation of Zero plan was sudden and undocumented. Literally nothing on their web page or blog other than "we are not offering it anymore". My existing account was cancelled without any notification. Customer service was unhelpful. This on top of cancelling "lifetime" plans signals shady company with bad practices. Avoid

Good installation process, good service, and less than $1/month. What's not to love?
