I’m giving alpha a 3 because yet while I love their products, the pill specifically, I wish to get my shipments just a little bit sooner because I skip the last row.

I signed up 8 days ago. I signed up for their pharmacy cause they said it would be easiest. They notified me a few days later that their pharmacy doesn’t take my insurance then took another day or 2 to send it to my local pharmacy. I chose to try them cause I’m busy and thought it would save time, be easier…WRONG!!! I told them the day after my appt that I would need a prior authorization for my medication. I COMPLETED THE FORM FOR THEM & sent it to them to sign & fax. I never heard back from the provider, I got responses from others saying they would handle it, but it took them 3 days & me continuing to message them to send it. Then, 4 days after they sent it, I was denied coverage for the med because, instead of using the pre-filled form I provided with accurate info, the provider decided to make up information, I suppose, cause they sure as hell never asked me for it. What’s really sad is they have some of the info in my record and STILL lied on the form, so my insurance denied it, based on wrong information they provided, despite the fact they had the right info sent to them several days prior (I literally did their job for them, it could not have been easier!). So I tried calling and leaving a voicemail, no luck in returning the call & writing them again, re-sending the accurate form for signature, asking for someone to please call me to talk about it because I’m getting nowhere with messaging. I got some generic message saying they will work on the prior auth and let me know what my insurance says. Ummmm that doesn’t help me, you need to acknowledge you screwed up, caused a treatment delay and will get it right ASAP. Im pretty confident they will send wrong info again resulting in yet another denial. I’m so frustrated I thought I was doing something convenient and ended up stressing myself out way more than taking an hour to see a local provider. They are unorganized, they send generic “hey, sure thing! Glad to help Thanks for reaching out!” Disingenuous messages & I’m seriously concerned that people who are in healthcare seem to suffer reading comprehension issues. This way of (not) managing patients is reckless. If you’re looking for sincere care and “patient first” as the profess, keep looking, this ain’t it! UPDATE: It has been 2 weeks since my initial "appt". My insurance hasn't gotten anything from them (the PA I completed and begged them to send) and I haven't heard from them in 3 days, when they told me they were looking into it. I requested my money back, I'm going to my local provider. I will probably have lost $30 and a lot of time and stress for NOTHING. They are reckless. The provider didn't even do a visit. She read what I wanted and gave it. That is a terrible way to (not) provide care. I truly hope no one gets hurt trying to do things the "easy" way. I feel so foolish for having tried. They are horrible. Everyone should be able to communicate with a healthcare practice by phone, especially when they mess up. UPDATE I never received a call. They never communicated with my insurance company to get authorization for the medication. It has been 15 days since my appt. It has been 4 days since they responded to me. I asked for my money back yesterday and today, no one is responding to my messages. This is the worst experience I have ever had with a healthcare practice. UPDATE: It took 6 days for a response. Of course, the fee is non-refundable, I figured I wasted my money and time. They offered me 25% off their non-prescription products to accommodate the fact that they never provided me with healthcare, never got my medication. Insurance never got the authorization from them. I told them "I did not receive care. I don't want your products or anything from you, you do not provide care of any kind. I'll make sure to review my experience everywhere." They responded within an hour to that, hahaha! They advised me that they do not tolerate "demanding, controlling or manipulative statements and requests, threats.." (others but they bolded those, I assume they are asserting me stating that I will review them falls into one of those categories, which it does not. I said I was going to make sure I review them, I did not ask for or demand anything. I have seen a local provider and gotten what I needed and just want to make sure everyone possible knows about what a hideous experience I had. Telehealth is great, when professionals are ACCOUNTABLE and COMMUNICATE and FOLLOW THROUGH. This is not healthcare, this is more like a health merchant, in my opinion. After 3.5 weeks and a load of undue stress and wasted time, I am thrilled to say: Bye bye Alpha! I hope providers have excellent malpractice policies.
