UPDATE: 10/3: Well HelixVM must have figured something out because I just got off the phone with Cigna and they're processing the claim. These guys are making millions in medical fraud while patients like us are screaming at the insurance companies, only to get blown off. I'll be changing policies immediately to avoid any further fraud in my name. UPDATE 10/2: They just sent Cigna a $1000 claim for sending my form and a few texts to a call center. They also lied and claimed I am an established patient. SCAM. 10/1/24 If a doctor actually created a "treatment plan" for me after I tested positive with Covid, then their doctor had no problem prescribing what the FDA determined to be a last resort medication that should only be prescribed when a better alternative is not available. Molnupiravir has an efficacy rate of 30% over the industry standard and first line of defense, Paxlovid which is approved by the FDA and has demonstrated a 90% efficacy rate. Trying to get someone to interact with me to correct the prescription was a futile effort. My efforts to appeal to them regarding a number of documented medical issues which put me at high risk of hospitalization was never addressed other than to say that this is the proper course of treatment. No doctor was ever available. Are they reading out of a notebook at a processing center? There is no number to call with questions. A link within your "treatment plan" giving you an opportunity to ask a question is as close as you'll get to supposed medical personnel. Texts and an email address that is answered according to your place on their cue is not medicine. You're advised it could take up to 48 hours for a response. I was desperate. My window of time for the drug to be effective upon testing positive was closing, the drugstores were within 2 hours of closing and I was stuck in a cue. Their Google advertisement deceptively aligns them with Cigna, as if they are a trusted partner. In the end, it's all a scam, a ploy to collect a roughly $100 out of pocket payment because none of it is covered. When I finally realized I wasn't working through Cigna, I managed to get a telehealth appt. within an hour. I actually spoke to a doctor who immediately sent in a script for Paxlovid. Based on how my symptoms were progressing, I have no doubt the Cigna doctor helped keep my out of the hospital. Stay away from HelixVM. I wish I had researched them prior to reaching out, but when you are sick and you're fighting through a mind fog, it can be difficult to read through the medical deception online. . . and I'm sure that's what they're banking on, literally. I'm hoping to file a class action lawsuit against this outfit. Hoping others will file complaints with their respective State DAs.

Soooo. I highly recommend avoiding this Virtual medical practice at all costs. Tried to get a thousand out of me for a visit. Insurance said $35.50 for the service provided by a chat bot. Paid, only to see they tack on a merchant fee of $3.75. Yeesh. This place needs to be run out of business.

Horrible company. Not gonna pay them. They couldn't even help me. No communication from Dr. Couldn't pick up meds. Insurance doesn't cover. Pretty much just a scam. Beware of them.

Total scam! They charged me for a referral! Then didn't send or refund the money I spent on the medication I ordered. They didn't have a doctor visit available either ! Don't believe their site! Once they have your money they won't refund you!
