The biggest scammer or the year
What concerns me most is not just the 2% fee itself, but the way it was implemented. They began charging an additional 2% of my advertising spend without obtaining my explicit consent or providing a clear, prominent notification. When I questioned it, I was simply told that an email had been sent. I never received that email, and even if I had, sending a single email is not sufficient notice for a change that can cost customers thousands of dollars. Updating the fine print or terms and conditions without a clear acknowledgment from the customer is not adequate. While there may have been a notification, customers receive frequent daily alerts, and important billing changes can easily be missed in that flow. A significant change like this should require a clear, unavoidable prompt—such as requiring customers to explicitly accept the new terms before signing in or continuing to use the service—before the new fee takes effect. Instead, the responsibility was placed entirely on customers to discover the change on their own, while the charges continued to accumulate. I am disappointed that there has been no acknowledgment that this process was inadequate or that customers may have been unfairly affected.
