Yo wassup, helium is too expensive

I’ve been using Helium 10 for the past year, initially drawn in by a compelling sales pitch. I committed to a premium plan at $1,800/month, expecting top-tier service—especially with the Manage Refund Service and the Concierge support. Unfortunately, the experience with these premium features was disappointing. The Manage Refund Service often opened cases but failed to follow up, resulting in over $10,000 in missed reimbursements. Despite repeatedly raising these concerns with my assigned contact (included as part of the premium package), there was no resolution—the communication was ineffective, and support was largely unhelpful. On the bright side, the core functionalities of Helium 10—especially keyword research and competitor analysis—are quite strong and continue to deliver value. Recognizing this, I renewed my subscription but wisely adjusted my plan, reducing costs by 90%, and now focus solely on the tools that genuinely provide ROI. In short, Helium 10 offers solid research tools, but the high-priced add-ons and Concierge services did not meet expectations. If you're considering the platform, I recommend sticking with the core features and being cautious about upsells that promise more than they deliver.

I'm an Amazon seller myself and Helium10 is the brand that's most often tossed around when it comes to seller-assistance software. I've been using it for about 2 years now so I feel like I can safely speak to the quality. There are a lot of good when it comes to Helium10 and there are a lot of bad. Not every tool is equally as useful. Their Cerebro and Blackbox tool is probably the most useful. They make it very easy to get keyword information and optimize your listing. However, their Adtomic toolset isn't that good. They advertise it as AI but there's hardly anything advanced or intelligent about it. All you can do is set an ACOS target and it will try to align by that number. The Helium "AI" does not consider seasonality, historical sales trends, and whether these keywords need to be run because they are primary keywords. My team eventually gave up on their Adtomic tool and moved to try other AI advertising solutions. There's a lot out there and we tried Perpetua, and Teikametrics both, which were good but expensive, but we eventually settled on using Astra by Sellrbox for advertising automation. They actually use A.I for keyword bids, extraction, etc. Super easy to use and low maintenance. The pricing is also fair and been loving it so far.

I thought the response was quick, however the questions are never directly answered. it is very frustrating thatI have to ask every question so many times and only get a canned answer rather than a direct answer. It was a basic yes or no question and I received everything but the answer.

As mentioned by other customers I was billed for 2 months after I cancelled my subscription. I contacted customer service back in February 2023 and cancelled my subscription, or so I thought. I didn’t remember to check my CC in April to make sure no payment was taken until today and found out that I was billed for April and May, I immediately contacted customer service via chat and was told no refunds are given as per their terms. This is just horrible service! I should not have to pay for something I haven’t used in months. I definitely do not recommend subscribing to Helium 10, do your research as there are better and more cost effective apps out there. Avoid all their hype! when it comes to service you’re on your own. Update: I have decided to change my initial rating from 1* to 3*. Ray @ Helium 10 contacted me and confirmed a refund was initiated for the 2 months which I appreciate very much. Glad to know that they are paying attention to their customers review and are making the effort to make things right. It would be better if these issues were resolved at the first point of contact therefore, saving customers the stress and frustration of having to resort to negative reviews to get a positive outcome. Acquistato licenza per uso aziendale ma non riesco a registrare la fattura per fare l'intrastat in quanto non viene comunicato il loro VAT Number (partita iva) e non è visibile da nessuna parte nemmeno sul loro sito. Sicuramente i servizi che offrono sono validi ma questa cosa è un po assurda se vendono su territorio italiano

Really cheap software but needs more focus. Another software called Datadive is using their data but excellent software with insights. I think they are great in Marketing but can develop the keyword tools more.

Too expensive.
