Their business practices are scammy and akin to places like Amazon. They trick customers into paying more than they need to. They operate like any other for-profit capitalistic large company. Their customer service sucks. You can't talk to a real person, call or email directly. You'd be wise to remember that this is a huge multimillion dollar corporation, and they treat their customers with zero respect. They are trying to make the most money they can and truly do not care about people. Dump them.

Very disappointed with the first two modules. Was told to breath in then out but nothing more about breathing within the 3 minutes which is so important. Need to do basics before moving on. This actually made me more stressed!

I find this app very helpful. As an example of this: this past mother’s day I was working in my yard when my ladder slammed shut on my hand, saved from breaking only by my rings on my ring finger. It hurt so bad I became nauseous and started shaking. I did a few deep breaths to focus on getting my hand out and then sat down. My hand had swelled to 2x it’s size. I did my pain meditation and entered the pain so I could get some ice for it to stop the swelling. The meditations helped me remain calm and able to help myself treat my injury. My hand did not break but two bones are bruised. I was very thankful for my mindfulness meditation training. It allowed me to go to the Cher concert with my daughter that same night!!💕😉💕

I'm not customer but I was planning to subscribe headspace but with all negative comments and horrible customers service I'm definitely staying away from this scam business, thank you all for the comments. However to headspeace please be responsible for your customers service and don't be dishonest to your customers.

Stopped the renewal months ago yet today my account was debited with £71.88. How can a company deemed to be trying to alleviate stress behave in this way. I am absolutely furious.

I did upgrade to the paid version of Headspace. They were offering a 3 month membership at a steep discount and I thought why not?The paid membership opens up a bunch of different modules which delve into different modalities of meditation and mindfulness methods.I did the creativity, focus and happiness modules The creativity module teaches you this fractionation technique where you focus your attention but then let your mind run and think about whatever, which is supposed to make you more creative. The happiness module focused on a gratitude exercise and focusing in on the emotions of gratitude. The focus module entailed an exercise of focusing on different parts of the body. In general meditation has been great for my focus and happiness, but these Headspace modules have really not made me anymore creative, focus or happy. Headspace is great training wheels for learning meditation but it’s not what’s going to take me from being an intermediate meditator to a truly advanced one. The main utility of Headspace is guided meditation and after almost 3 years of meditation I’ve kind of figured out a meditation process that I really like and the guiding voice is distracting from what I want to focus on in my practice, which is… Taoist breath counting Blue Sky mode Empty mind The Cool Draw sex transmutation visualization I find that when there’s no little voice in my ear buds and I’m truly alone with myself for 20 minutes; I can go deeper and it’s more of an intensive focus exercise.

When I followed the steps to cancel my subscription, I reached a screen that gave me several options for renewing, but no option for canceling. I tried to send an email to the help center, but that was not working on their Web site. My card was just billed for a one-year renewal that I do not want. I am disputing this through the credit card company. I have an extremely low opinion of Headspace's tactics.

I thought it was great at first, but I've gone from happiness to creativity and it's the same meditation, £75 for the same meditation but slightly different words isn't too creative. Think of a light and exspand, I could of learnt that in one session. Thanks for your instant reply, in fareness I haven't given it enough time so I'll try a different meditation and see.
