Charged me for 95$ without notice. It seems they have a practice of ripping off their customers. I had a yearly subscription and stopped using the app after a few months. Turns out it renews automatically without so much as an email to remind you of that. Customer support doesn't answer. DON'T EVER PAY THEM MONEY, you will get ripped off and won't get anything back.

I cancelled my subscription only to find they have continued to take the subscription and had the temerity to double charge. I have requested a full refund. Using headspace has caused me stress by their taking money I don’t have

Same as everyone else is saying, I paid around 45 dollars a year ago with the understanding that I was buying the app in a one time payment. Was there some fine print I missed? I'm usually very aware of when I purchase subscriptions and cancel them in time. Of course they don't mention that the subscription is going UP, doubling in price, until AFTER they've charged you. And any attempts to get a response from customer service have gone ignored. Great job headspace on making tons of money while pissing off thousands of people in the process. Sneaky, bad business practices, stay away.

Renewing of subscriptions They don't remind you that a subscription will be renewed, and besides the renewing is on a different day than would be normal. It says it renews exactly a year after, but it is earlier.

I have had the same issue, I had 71euro taken from my bank account this week , I did not allow auto renewal, I have been trying to contact them for the past week, sent numerous emails and have got a reply from automated service, I too had little funds in my account this week and had requested not to take it, but payment went ahead. I also went to bank and they said I had to deal directly with headspace, how can I deal with them when they not responding, causing me huge stress

Like others, they have taken my money without my permission. It has caused me unnecessary stress... :( UPDATE: I contacted them 6 days ago but haven't heard back from them. Three full business working days have passed but still nothing. I know I am entitled to a refund because of the 30-day money-back guarantee but their customer service appears to be very slow. SECOND UPDATE: Forget emailing them! Twitter is the only way to get through to them. I emailed them twice but didn’t get a response. I also messaged them on Instagram but didn’t get a response. So I opened a twitter account and tweeted them and got my refund within 4hours.

In reply to people who had their money siphoned off, Headspace took unauthorized payments, £10 monthly, from my Paypal for nearly 2 years. I had no idea. I began those "free" sessions and when I finished I left it there. In January 2019, there was a yearly offer cheap enough, I took it. So I was paying twice. Monthly and yearly. Thanks to a review which said that Headspace answered rapidly on Twitter, I opened a Twitter account and they answered immediately. To cut the story short, I ended up by tweeting Andy Puddicombe, Sean Brecker and Rich Pearson, the 3 CEO, to get a full refund. Which I did in 3 days! So you know what to do now. Go on Twitter. They are afraid of bad publicity.

I subscribed last January (2019) for the year and paid 50 something euro. I had absolutely no idea I was committing myself to an annual subscription until I received an email on 26 January 2020 thanking me for the €71.88 which they were deducting from my bank account. This actually happened on a week when I had very little money in my account. I contacted my bank straight away to try to stop the payment and was told I needed to ask Headspace for my money back which I immediately did. Just by way of an update I received a rebate of €71.88, lodged to my bank account 12 days later (yesterday)
