I would give them no stars if I could. This is an app created to invoke calmness and encourage you to wind down. Well, let me just say... I am not calm after the impossible task of canceling the subscription. I canceled it, well it appeared I did, on the app. I am OCD so I have to make sure of everything. I couldn't find my subscription info anywhere so I turned to google and found instructions to cancel (again) followed the steps that can only be done via a web browser and not the app, only to be led to a dead end and instructions to email them to cancel if that didn't work. So I did... long story short they billed me anyway and this whole process took me days. Thumbs down headspace. I was thinking I would like it.

I tried out the free trial of headspace. It could not be installed on my i phone, but before you sign up they ask for the credit number. So i could not install the app but after 14 days they booked a month fee of my credit account. Now i try to cancel the app, but I do not have a account number and there is nowhere a telefon number were you can reach someone. Only chance is a bot that asks for my account of the app, which I can not deliver. I think this app is a total scam, so people beware of signing up for the FREE TRIAL. Still have to find out how to stop the theft.

I received a gift subscription to Headspace from my daughter on Christmas 2020. The email Headspace sent me informed me that I had the subscription and then provided a link to get started. However, the link was broken. I contacted customer service via messaging (there is no phone number for customer support, which is a problem in and of itself). I did not get an answer to my question for over a week. When they did email be finally, the message said to "enter the code." There was no code provided in the original email informing me that I had a gift subscription. I just contacted customer support again and an automessage said they would contact me in a couple of days. This is ridiculous.

I have been using the service for years and I am satisfied. Before Christmas (Dec 14) I had upgraded to Family Plan and my credit card was immediately charged. However, none of my family members received an invitation mail despite numerous attempts. I contacted their help desk on Dec 15, 2020, 12:09 First reply: Dec 19, 2020, 14:52 My next complaint: Mon, 21 Dec 2020 at 21:45 Several additional complaints saying plainly that none of the family members received an invitation. NO REPLY from Headspace. My complaint was settled soon after the second complaint. Everything works fine ever since.

Tried it for a few days, it was ok. Not too sure why there are so many people giving it negative reviews for being unable to cancel the free trial, maybe they just don't understand how subscriptions work on play store and have forgotten to cancel in time. It is one of those apps that if you don't cancel before the end of the free trial they will charge you, but that's absolutely normal (even Netflix will charge you of you don't cancel before the end of a free trial!!!). Cancellation maybe the one thing that could be confusing people here but it's not necessarily their fault, cancellation on Android works just like every other subscription service on Android and when you authorise the subscription it clearly states at the bottom of the payment page how to cancel - to cancel you go to the Google Play store and click subscriptions, then you click cancel subscription - once you click cancel there then Google will ask if you really want to cancel, say yes and it's cancelled - any Google play subscription can be cancelled simply in this way, and unless you click renew subscription and go through play store security (fingerprint ID/Google password) they can't reactivate it at their end. If you try to cancel within the app then yeah there is a risk that the play store subscription will still be active and play will just automatically pay it, that why when subscribing play store gives you specific instructions on how to cancel (plus if you look on the internet there is numerous instructions on how to cancel play store subscriptions and they all describe the same method!) It's like having a bank standing order in place and not bothering to cancel it at the bank end when you've cancelled your subscription to whatever it was and then complaining to the company that they took your money - no they didn't the bank did because the instruction to do so is still there, and this is the same with play store subscriptions, cancel them in the subscription list in play store not in the apps.

Impossible to cancel very very easy to subscribe. I do not trust this company

i find that it's really not that useful. i got myself a real meditation teacher after my therapist advised me to do so and i gotta say, it's a different world.

will admit it’s not worth it if you just want it for sleep sounds or the odd meditation etc but if you wanna regularly meditate or feel like you’ll use it often it’s so good i listen to the managing anxiety meditation daily and i’m feeling so much better, if you’ll use a lot it’s 100% worth it so calming, love it
