Difficult to cancel automatic subscription as company gives vague/inaccurate advice on how to do this via App Store. Meditations are repetitive and app does not represent good value for money. This is a shameful way to treat people who are suffering from poor mental health. AVOID!! What I have read in many reviews is all true. Headspace is a cunning and unethical company, only interested to get your money. I have tried to cancel my subscription through their website. This is unfortunately extremely difficult if not impossible. They simulate to be a trustworthy company but there cancellation instructions on their website only lead you into circles. Subscribing to Headspace is like entering a lobster pot, it is easy to get in but impossible to get out!!!

New to this type of thing, but I thought I would give it ago. I was offered membership via my health insurer. I have been feeling quiet stressed as many in recent times, I used the app for the first time this morning and already feel a difference. I started the basics course and I genuinely couldn’t believe how much more calm I felt just after listening to 2 sessions. I will definitely stick with the app as there looks like there are so many different types of meditations and sleep sounds to explore. These are my initial thoughts and I’ll update my review after a couple of weeks.

Dreadful useless app and appalling customer service and constantly attempting to get more money despite me unsubscribing and requesting that they remove me from their email marketing so I am appalled and disappointed and do not recommend

best meditation app

Downloaded Headspace via iPhone apps and cancelled my subscription via the app. There’s a big clear button you press to cancel your subscription so not to be charged £49.99 However the next day I was charged £49.99 and received an email from Headspace to say they were unable to cancel my subscription because I needed to cancel through my iPhone settings not the Headspace app. Headspace won’t refund me £49.99 because according to them they don’t have access to any information held by Apple. They advised me to contact Apple directly. What a scam. I would not recommend Headspace to anyone. Avoid avoid avoid!

Brilliant app. Very pleased with content. Finding it all simple to use and helpful. I was fortunate enough to get a small discount as i wrote to say why are only nhs getting it for free during this covid. I work as a carer for a private company which is still high risk. They offered the discount so i took it.

No communication. Cannot cancel app. Poor service
