Exactly as others have said, they have charged me £50 for an annual subscription which I did not authorise, and they refuse to respond to emails. I received a notification from Paypal that the money had been taken and immediately tried to contact Headspace to query why this had been taken and to request immediate reversal of the transaction, and they simply do not respond to any form of contact or even attempt to provide any evidence that payment was agreed to. Completely unacceptable

I've been using headspace for a couple years. The free version was recommended to me by my therapist.They have options for students, and people with lower income. The customer service staff is very kind, and understanding. I will be honest, quite a bit of the meditations sound very similar, but each session has its own blurb before the meditation. There's also ways to reflect on and track your anxieties and stressors. Many videos, activities and topics as well. I really recommend headspace

Be aware of automatic annual subscription charges. I have tried to get the money back and it is impossible. No less than 1 hour after they charged the total annuity and no answer for a week already. Worst customer service ever with no answers and a bot that does not sort out a common situation. Sorry Headspace you treat us this way.

My son signed up for this app in 2018 for a year. Four years later they are still taking an annual payment from my credit card without authorization despite him removing the app and cancelling his subscription on his phone. Apparently you can only cancel a subscription by logging in on their website. And please be aware that they somehow access new card details via your Apple ID - our credit card changed but they still took the annual payment!!! Do not use this app.

Prior to September 2022 this was a great tool for me especially the sleepcast feature. Unfortunately they inexplicably and without prior notice withdrew support for Alexa devices and the service is now only available by using a mobile device or web browser. Customer services state that connecting your phone to a Bluetooth speaker achieves the same thing, however I cannot activate this using my voice and furthermore I have to stay awake to disconnect from Bluetooth otherwise other notifications wake me up! They have turned a streamlined user friendly experience into a frustrating and clunky one!

Headspace is hurtful and demeaning toward older users. It intentionally excludes all people who look 'old.' Both the instructors and the people interviewed are meant to look young, twenties-thirties. I feel that I don't exist when I open Headspace. Many of their meditations are too similar but with different titles.

Update:At this point, headspace already made the refund regarding the impossibility to unsubscribe the subscription. *** Impossible to unsubscribe once you make the first payment. I tried to unsubscribe since I don’t use it anymore and it doesn’t appear that option on the app or in client area on the site. Since my last payment details weren’t active anymore because of this problem they went for my first payment card that is still active and charge another year. I sent 3 mails for support and the don’t even reply. I’ll have to cancel my card because of this.

I deleted my subscription since I bought a full 1 year premium account and after few months it stopped working. The app says "could not find user subscription: xxx" and so I opted for another more reliable app. So, on dec the 4th I've been charged with 57,99 EUR. I wrote several times to the support center and never got a reply for the first request 2710158. I am very disappointed. Terrible customer care and app. Update: I finally got a contact from headspace on Dec the 13th. Andrii has been kind and helpful and got my refund immediately. I upgrade to three stars just because this Person knows the job and offered further help and a 50% discount for another year but I don’t want to pay and not having the chance to use what I paid for. I am still disappointed I couldn’t use the app for MONTHS even though I paid the full price of 58$ for it and couldn’t even delete the account. 5 stars for Andrii. Give them a raise. The rest could get 0 stars imo.
