Headspace doesn't notify you of an upcoming renewal, it only does it after the fact. The app itself doesn't show when your subscription ends, even though it has 'Account & Subscription' section. This is straight up evil. FTC is suing Amazon for making it difficult to cancel subscription, but at least you can see when it's up for renewal. With Headspace, you have to log in online.

These guys Charged me $100 even after I cancelled my subscription over a year ago. DO NOT GO ON A TRIAL. They will charge you after the trial, even if you've cancelled the subscription, absolute scum bag move.

This company does not give you a reminder that your free trial is up and then go ahead and take a full year payment from you. When you ask to cancel and for a refund they tell you their policy is to not refund anyone in this situation. My guess is this is the only way they can make money.....by scamming people. So much for helping people with their mental health. More like leading people into severe anxiety and frustration.

I signed up for the 7-day FREE trial & was immediately charged for a full monthly subscription. I cancelled the subscription and no FREE days were ever applied. When I requested a refund they referred me to Google Pay who referred me back to the merchant (Headspace). Headspace insist that at this time they are unable to provide me with a refund. From accounts on social media they have quite the money spinner coming in by scamming consumers! BEWARE BUYERS!!!

Bought a full year plan for 57 euros but didnt realise they had a student plan- it was never advertised to me when i was buying the normal plan. I asked them to change me to a student plan and refund the difference as i could really use that money to you know... eat etc. They answered me saying it was not possible. How is a company that is ment to be based on mental wellbeing not able to do this? I mean - Amazon, the one of the worst companies on the planet refund you the difference if you cancel you subscription. If you come across as more money grabbing than them - you have a serious problem. I will never ever ever recommend this product to anyone now. Even though i love the content. I mean wow...

I will be honest, I bought it impulsively last year. A full one-year subscription with Headspace - and barely used it, due to being a mediocre app in the guided meditation niche and seeing poor results from it. There are much better alternatives in the market for the same price. But this experience is about Headspace and its owners Andy Puddicombe & Richard Pierson that are scamming users. Fast forward, after paying for one year - I've got billed again for the second year in full (70$). The same day, I created a support ticket asking to refund me, since I was billed unwillingly for a product that I wasn't using. A normal company when it sees a such request - refunds a customer. Who wants an unhappy customer? Bad for business and karma. Headspace and its founders Andy Puddicombe & Richard Pierson aren't a normal company. Looks like they love all of these negative reviews or simply just not give a rat's ass about customers. That hired for peanuts robot lady Olena from support answered they can't refund me - bla bla bla bla bla. Even if I've requested it in less than 24 hours. I emphasize that they billed me for one full year! One year, Carl! Keep a one-month subscription if you're so hungry for the money - not one-year! Too bad I didn't check the reviews here before I bought the first subscription. Would've saved some money and time. So beware and avoid this scamming company Headspace and f-ing scammers Andy Puddicombe, Richard Pierson, and their support Olena.

BE AWARE!!! I just got charged £49.99 for signing up to the free trial??!?!?!!! It stated that I would need to cancel before the 14 day free trial period was up but it took the money straight from my account. It’s ironic that you download an app like this thinking it will help you, but it ends up causing you more stress - both emotionally and financially! I have contacted both them and put a refund request in on Apple! Absolutely appalling!!!!!!!!

As everyone else has written - do not use! Cancelled my daughters subscription and they are still taking money. They won't answer my refund request. Terrible company, they would give you anxiety - avoid avoid aviod
