I should not have charged $69.99 as I did not accept the renewal at that price. Then the system discounted it to 34.99 and that is when I accept the renewal! But they decided to charge me twice-69.99 and 34.99 and refuse to refund or cancel membership. their customer service is not existed. took weeks to get a response. Do not use them. They overcharge you.

All meditations are the same exercise with different theoretical information. So basically I use it as a timer and to know how many days and how many meditations I have done. As a point of improvement then it would be to add different meditations and visualizations. Also extend the meditations to sleep. Now they are mostly special sound effects. And they are difficult to follow . Example: in the sleep guided meditation you have to count backwards from 10.000 backwards. But that is impossible if the voice keeps giving advice while we try to count backwards. It would also be nice to be able to add binaural beats and/or music in the background as an option in the standard meditations. Otherwise I am happy with the app, it has a very friendly layout.

I think this app is useful and it does help me when I use it. However I do feel it is overpriced. 13 euro a month seems a bit steep, and it's more pricey than several other subscriptions I have which I use more often.

I’d like to thank Michelle I from customer support. I’ve been using head space for about 2 years with my army job. Unfortunately I have left that business and I’m now a veteran. I’ve noticed the other evening that my headspace wasn’t working but I’m no longer a part of the army. I’ve used headspace a lot to help my anxiety and to sleep better with background noise. I wrote to Headpsace and Michelle helped my problem very well and I’m happy with what she offered! Thank you so much for your help! 5 stars to her ⭐️

***UPDATE*** I finally received a refund, as a 'one time courtesy', however it took two strongly worded emails requesting an escalation of my request to a more senior staff member. I feel it should have been possible for all customer service agents to issue a refund out of goodwill, especially for a company such as Headspace which claims to have human values. *** Original review: After having stopped using the app for a while, my subscription renewal notice went into my junk mail folder. The customer service I received on asking for a refund was extremely unsympathetic and robotic. A flat “no” to any refund. Not even a partial refund. £49.99 is a lot of money for an app I no longer use. I really would have expected a refund as a gesture of goodwill. It seems they don’t have the headspace for goodwill.

Somehow I ended up with two accounts and only realised when I received a 'thankyou for your 59.99' - I contacted them initially and was told that only Apple could refund the payment and wouldn't allow them to make the refund directly. I could not find the payment on my apple account and when I finally gotaround to contacting them again about it they said the time to cancel my subscription had passed. for a multi million pound company (whose sole mission is supposedly promoting wellbeing) I found this a really disappointing and short sighted attitude. Surely Andy Puddicombe doesn't need my £60 twice over during a cost of living crisis. As a previous review said, you can't get beyond the 'computer says no' mentality. Ive cancelled my subscription.
